The Drama Research Of Sun Kaidi

Sun Kaidi has made great achievement in the research of classical novel,and his performance in ancient traditional drama is also brilliant.Sun Kaidi has contributed to the research in the history of drama,drama ontology,textual research of dramatist,drama language,drama criticism and so on.Since 1930 s,many books such as Origin of Puppet Show,Brief Research on Yuan Dramatist,Research on Zaju in Ancient and Modern Times,Analysis of Bibliography of Novels and Dramas and etc.have been published,which has a far-reaching influence on the drama research.The paper studies Sun Kaidi's viewpoint of drama from three aspects.The first aspect mainly demonstrates the academic controversy on the origin of puppet drama and traditional drama after the publication of The Form of Singing and Acting in Modern Drama Originates from Puppet Drama and Shadow Play and The Origin of Puppet Show.Centering on flesh puppet and large-shadow play from these two books,this part clarifies the value of Sun Kaidi's related researches on puppet show in the study of history of drama.From the paper's sequence and its core,the paper argues that Sun Kaidi research on related puppet show elaborates the origin of the puppet play rather than the origin of drama.Further,the paper describes how his research on puppet show affects the later research on puppet show.The second aspect explores Sun Kaidi's drama literature from textual criticism and explanations of dramatist and textual research on drama works,such as supplementary research on dramatist,study of Yuan dramatists,research of original works and corrections of drama content.This part puts emphasis on combing and analysis of related literature,and then summarizes Sun Kaidi's approaches and characteristics in the explanation of dramatists and textual research of drama works.The third aspect discusses Sun Kaidi's drama view and its contribution from hisresearch of drama history and drama criticism,and in the meantime,finds out that Sun Kaidi's research on drama lays emphasis on textual research of literature and justice spirit of academic evaluation.
