| As a long historical region, LingChuan has rich cultural relics heritage and profound opera roots. This paper, from the perspective of the existing temple of the ancient stage of Ling Chuan, explores the vast number of early stage distributions, architectural skill level, public entertainment play offering gods and religious beliefs to show Ling Chuan opera culture in a broad and far-reaching historical picture scroll. With a half year, the study emphatically investigated seven villages and towns of the ancient stage and visited more than 70 classical stages in order to master the first-hand data, photos, inscriptions and local people’s historical memory, which was beneficial to understand the distribution of the old stages and summarize construction characteristics, including column development, Chi top. Around the temple dramatics and the choice of the deity belief of local people, the paper constitutes a complete entertainment opera activities centered by the early stages in Ling Chuan.Reliable construction data material are obtained through the field measurement and equipped with some pictures to represent stage old temple architecture, and valuable information is got from local people and proved by inscriptions and literature material, which can provide the audience a live temple stage. Stage depending on the temple, to some extent, the kinds of temple reflect the belief selections of local people.Based on the survey, it reveals that Yuhuang belief, two gods belief,three religions belief and grandma belief are very popular in Ling Chuan.Stage, as a label of cultural relics in the particular historical period,provides reliable material for studying the contemporary opera activities.This paper integrates gods belief, opera activities and relics as a particular culture to explore and tries to reconstruct and analyze the historical phenomena in Ling Chuan, which helps to get a more comprehensive understanding of this historical phenomenon. |
