Inheritance Of Huozhou Imposing Percussion

The Huozhou imposing percussion is one of the folk art forms that widely spread in the region of southern Shanxi.It is called “power”because of its forceful rhythm,passionation and its uniform motion.As a comprehensive art combined music,dance skills,it is survived with its unique style of drum dance.The Huozhou imposing percussion has unique tunes and enjoys a long history.It is widely popular and accepted because of its wide distribution and influence.The Huozhou imposing percussion is named as the national intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture in 2006.Previous research on Huozhou imposing percussion has focused on its tune choreography,motor performance,aesthetics and cultural connections etc.There is a lack of its heritage and protection.This paper will concentration these things and try to present and analyze the situation of Huozhou imposing percussion on the basis of fully study of the literature and data.We also apply ourselves to the new ways and measures to provide reference for its development and protection.This paper is divided into two parts: the introduction and main body.The main body includes four chapters.The first chapter refers to the specific circumstances of Huozhou imposing percussion.Based on its geographical environment and local culture,the papersummarize its historical origins and development of rheology.In the following three chapters,through personal experience and interviews to the official legacies and folk artisans,the paper involves its heritage and presents the different influence they made in the process of its development.On the other side,according to current situation of Huozhou imposing percussion,it presents changes of the ways of its heritage and skills.This paper is also a detailed exposition to provide the related strategies and introspections for its further development and protection.
