As a new carrier of civilized city and an important signal of city orientation, the art museum plays a more and more important role in propelling the cultural development and flourishing. With the development and boosting of city culture and civilization, more and more art museums are constructed showing a booming trend. Based on the traditional museum mode, private-owned art museums and state-owned private art museums appear. These art museums make great contribution to the society from collection, demonstration, public education, international cultural exchange and development of art derivation. Meanwhile, art museum has changed from the previously single form(expert establishing art history) into a new carrier of art history creation.The paper is an explorative research about the museum management under the state-owned private museum system, mainly discussing the museum mode under state-owned private system. It found out the problem existing in present system, and depending on art theory, museum theory, and management theory, the study made an comprehensive investigation and sorting about the museum mode under the state-owned private system with various research methods including literature research methods, field investigation, case study, questionnaire and experience summary. The paper tries to present the solutions to the existing problems, affirms the management mode under state-owned private system and explicates the feasibility and development orientation in practice. It offers precious reference for the future art museum research.The paper is an innovation that fills in the blank of museum mode under the present state-owned private system. Meanwhile, it is a kind of supplement and improvement for present study on art museum in China. It will contribute to the further sorting, study and summary of scholars to promote the development of Chinese museum business.
