Aggressive behavior is a kind of behavior that injures or harm to others(including individuals and groups)deliberately and brings them unpleasantness or pains.Aggressive behavior, which is prominent among juveniles, will lead to serious consequences without right guidance or control. In addition to emotional state, previous researches showed aggressive behavior was related to long-term poor parent-child relationship. Therefore,on the basis of predecessors' researches, the aim of the study was to explore the causes of aggressive behavior from childhood abuse and emotion regulation.Based on the theory of aggressive behavior, childhood and emotion regulation, this study used the questionnaire method to investigate 970 students in 1-2 grade in a junior and a senior high school of Harbin, the results showed as follows:1.There wasn't a significant gender difference in aggressive behavior. The scores of single-parent family students in the aggressive behavior and hostility were higher than those of the non-single-parent family students.Meanwhile, there was gender difference on the physical aggression, the scores of junior high school students(grade one)and senior high school students(grade one)were higher than junior high school students(grade two).2.There was significant positive correlation between aggressive behavior and emotional abuse.Physical aggression, hostility and aggressive behavior had significant positive correlation with body abuse. Both physical aggression and hostility had significant positive correlation with emotional neglect and physical neglect respectively. In addition, verbal aggression had significant negative correlation with emotional neglect and physical neglect,respectively.3.Up-regulation for positive and negative emotions had significant positive correlation with aggressive behavior.Physical aggression, hostility and aggressive behavior had significant positive correlation with down-regulation for positive emotion. However, verbal aggression, hostility and aggressive behavior had significant positive correlation with down-regulation for negative emotion.4.Two factors of emotion regulation habit had a multiple-mediation effect on relationship between childhood abuse and aggressive behavior, which were down-regulation for positive emotion and up-regulation for negative emotion respectively.
