He opera Shih Tzu is the first original opera released by National Grand Theatre, which has been spoken highly of since its first performance in 2009. And in 2012, the opera was successfully completed for four times. Acting as the opening event of "the National Grand Theatre Opera Festival", it establishes a solid backing for the development of Chinese original opera. The opera Shih Tzu relates an ancient Chinese time behind the remote history, in which the story of beauty Shih Tzu and her hometown was presented through western grand opera, unfolding a romantic and artistic piece of works as with ancient inspiration and as if traditional Chinese painting. The author herein applies a large amount of description on the historical background of this original opera, and furtherdemonstrates and studies the three important women characters'image analyses and performance of the classic section.
