The Characters Aesthetic Research Of Shih-shuo Hisn-yu

Shih-Shuo Hisn-Yu,the book from the Liu Song Dynasty has constitute most important categories in the history of Chinese Aesthetics.Influenced by the Person Evaluation and Metaphysics Idle Talk which formed in the late Han Dynasty,this book developed a new aesthetic description and evaluation by using multiple angles to describe the characters not only in the external beauty “Rongzhi” but also the internal personality.It has changed the previous aesthetic evaluation criteria,which made humanity aesthetic comes to an independent aesthetic formation that separate itself from the political and moral aesthetic formation.The article is divided into six parts.The introduction part mainly elaborates the significance of the topic,the current research status and research ideas in the related fields.In the second and third part,start from this book focus on beauty and beauty of personality this two major aspects to expound and prove that the Shih-Shuo Hisn-Yu demonstrate a "pluralistic" aesthetic characters.Moreover,Shih-Shuo Hisn-Yu point out the beauty of body should be considered as an independent aesthetic elements since the characters of external beauty and internal beauty of personality is equally important,and which more important is the internal beauty need rely on the external beauty to be revealed,and this idea makes an significant influences in the history of the Chinese Aesthetic.In the fourth chapter,the article discussed the relationship between Shih-Shuo Hisn-Yu “Qing” character aesthetics and "Xiu Gu Qing Xiang" character aesthetics to further demonstrate that the people from Wei and Jin Dynasties are seeking the appreciation of external characters which is lean,elegant,delicate in order to fulfill their internal pure.The "Xiu Gu Qing Xiang" and “Qing” character aesthetics reflect the Buddhism emphasize the importance of self-cultivation and deep meditation,which also reflect the spirit of Metaphysics,to have the open mind of the nature and beyond all the restrictions.According to the findings list in the paper we believe that appearance oriented is a vital symbol of the awareness of self-consciousness in the Wei and Jin Dynasties,and this concept focused on individual character concern has an inseparable relationship with the Metaphysics of Wei and Jin Dynasties.Therefore,in the fifth chapter this paper discussed the relationship between Metaphysics Idle Talk,character temperament and beauty of spirit,and the reason why “Shih-Shuo Hisn-Yu" pay attention to beauty and beauty of personality.In the conclusion,the paper summarized the achievement and the impact of Shih-Shuo Hisn-Yu in the history of Chinese Aesthetic.
