A Study Of The Translation Of The Introductory Texts About Some Famous Scenic Areas In Changsha:a Cultural Perspective

Based on the translation situation of famous scenic spots introduction in Changsha,and combing the research results which conducted by the author,this thesis aims to study the translation of the introductory texts about some famous scenic areas in Changsha from a cultural perspective. The main purpose of the study is to discuss the translation strategies and methods of the introductory texts about some famous scenic areas in Changsha,draw the public attention to the translation situation of Changsha,and provide a new perspective and method to the translation of the introductory texts about scenic areas in Hunan province. In this way, the culture of the scenic areas can be better expressed to foreign tourists.This thesis starts from the problems of translation of the introductory texts about some famous scenic areas in Changsha. After that it draws out the main causes of the problems:the cultural difference of different regions,the different culture images,the different translation levels and skills of translators. Based on this, practical translation strategies and methods are put forward in order to gain the better translation works and improve the communication between Changsha and the other areas.
