Objective: To observe clinical curative effect of multiple segments tibial fracture treated with Bridging combined Fixation system versus Locking Compression Plate.To explore the advantage and shortage of bridging combined fixation system and LCP in treatment of multiple segments fracture of tibial stem.Providing theoretical basis for choosing the appropriate clinical treatment.Methods: A retrospective statistical analysis,Qing Hai University Affiliated Hospital Orthopedic ward from December 2014 to December 2016 collected between 80 patients by operation with complex multiple segments tibial fractures,with 55 males and 25 females,aged from18-70 years.According to(AO/OTA)type :15 cases were type C1,33 cases were type C2,32 cases were type C3.According to the different operation mode is divided into Bridging combined Fixation system group(BCF)and Locking Compression Plate(LCP)group.Forty cases were treated with Bridge combined Fixation system,the other were treated with Locking Compression Plate.The mean follow up were 12 months(from 6 to 14 months).After nine months using the operation time,X-ray exposure frequency,fracture healing time,fracture reduction situation and the complications were compared between the two group.Johner-Wruhs tibial stem standards of grading,observe the clinical effect.Results: Based on all the patients were followed up for 6-14 months,gender,age,fracture type,with general information data analysis,comparison of the two groups of patients,no statistically significant differences between the comparative analysis,between the 2 groups(P>0.05).For BCFS group,the operation time was(58.23±13.22)min,X-ray exposure frequency was(1.34±0.91)times,healing time was(15.20±1.80)weeks,anatomical reduction38 cases,the complications of bone nonunion 1 cases.According to the grade of Johner-Wruh,the excellent and good rate was 95%.For LCPS group,the operation time was(82.41±12.32)min,X-ray exposure frequency was(3.58±0.87)times,healing time was(14.90±2.0)weeks,anatomical reduction29 cases,the complications of malunion 1 cases.According to the grade of Johner-Wruh,the excellent and good rate was 90%.There was significantly different in operation time,fractures reduction and X-ray exposure frequency between the two groups(P<0.05).However,there was no significant differences in bone healing time,the complications and Johner-Wruhs score between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: For the treatment effects of multiple segment tibial fracture,there are no significant different between Bridging combined Fixation system And Locking Compression Plate particular in bone healing time,the complications and Johner-Wruhs score.But Bridging combined Fixation system treatment option have some merit,such as less trauma,less blood loss,less X-ray exposure frequency shorter operative time and multidimensional fixation.The clinical treatment effect is satisfactory,it is worth in clinical application.
