Objective:Analyze and understand the relationship between BMI and pulmonary function impairment in T2DM patients.Participants and methods:A total of 90 patients with T2DM admitted to the Department of Endocrinology at the Qinghai University Hospital from November2016 to November 2017 were selected. They were divided into three groups:Group A:30 patients with normal weight(18.5 kg/m~2?BMI?23.9 kg/m~2)of T2DM patients.Group B:30 patients with T2DM who are overweight(24kg/m~2?BMI?27.9kg/m~2).Group C:T2DM patients with obesity(BMI?28kg/m~2)were included in 30patients.All data analysis uses SPSS20.0 software analysis and processing.Results:1.Comparison of clinical routine indexes:(1)FPG?2hPG?TG?HDL-C and HbA1c were significantly different among the three groups(P<0.05).(2)Comparison of FPG,2hPG,TG,and HbA1c between the three groups:C group was significantly higher than B group,B group was significantly higher than A group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The comparison of HDL-C between the three groups:C group was significantly lower than B group,B group was significantly lower than A group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)There was no significant difference in TC and LDL-C between the three groups(P>0.05).2.The results of lung function impairment among groups were compared:(1)There were statistically significant differences in the detection rates of restrictive ventilation dysfunction, small airway obstruction, and decreased diffusion function among the three groups(P<0.05).(2)The detection rate of restrictive ventilation dysfunction, small airway obstruction, and reduced diffusion function among the three groups were compared:C group was significantly higher than B group,B group was significantly higher than A group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)There was no significant difference in the detection rate of normal lung function, obstructive ventilatory dysfunction and mixed ventilatory dysfunction between the three groups(P>0.05).3.Binary logistic regression analysis shows:(1)BMI,2hPG,HbA1c,and TG were independent risk factors for restrictive ventilation dysfunction.(2)BMI,2hPG,and HbA1c are independent risk factors for small airway obstruction.(3)BMI,2hPG,and HbA1c were independent risk factors for decreased diffusive function.Conclusions:1.With the increase of BMI in patients with T2DM,the levels of FPG,2hPG,and HbA1c are gradually increasing. There is a close relationship between BMI and blood glucose in T2DM patients.2.With the increase of BMI in patients with T2DM,the level of TG in patients showed a gradually increasing trend, and the level of HDL-C showed a gradually decreasing trend. There was a close correlation between BMI values and blood lipids in T2DM patients.3.With the increase of BMI in patients with T2DM,the impairment of lung function is mainly manifested in restrictive ventilation dysfunction, decreased diffusion function, and small airway obstruction;the detection rate of restrictive ventilation dysfunction is the highest.4.In patients with T2DM pulmonary function impairment,BMI,2hPG,HbA1c,and TG were independent risk factors for restrictive ventilatory dysfunction;BMI,2hPG,and HbA1c were independent risk factors for small airway obstruction;BMI,2hPG,and HbA1c were diffusive Reduced independent risk factors.
