Objective:By comparing the indexes of blood gas, blood routine and cardiac ultrasound in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease?COPD?who were migrating and living in middle altitude areas. To investigate the impact of migration on the pathogenesis of COPD in middle altitude areas. Methods:A total of 136 patients with COPD who were hospitalized in the respiratory department of our hospital were collected.According to the time of living in the middle altitude region, the patients were divided into two groups, immigration group and native group, with 68 cases in each group. The age, sex, height, weight, smoking index and FEV1/FVC%were comparable between the two groups of patients.Routine clinical indicators of blood routine?RBC,HB,HCT?,blood gas?pH,PaO2,PaCO2,HCO3-,BE,Sa O2?,cardiac ultrasound?ROVT,RVED,RVND,MPAD,PASP?were compared to analysis the differences between various indicators.Results:1.There was no significant difference in the indexes of blood gas analysis?pH,PaO2,PaCO2,HCO3-and BE?between the migrated group and the native group?P>0.05?,but there was a significant difference between the two groups in blood gas analysis?P<0.05?.2.The average counts of RBC,HB and HCT in the blood routine of the migrated group were all larger than those of the native group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant?P<0.05?.3.The indexes of heart color Doppler?ROVT,RVED,RVND,MPAD and PASP?in the migrated groups were slightly larger than those in the native group, but the difference was not statistically significant?P>0.05?.Conclusions:1.The SaO2 of migrate with COPD in middle altitude areas was lower than that of the native, and its RBC and HB were significantly higher than the native. It is suggested that the migrant's HB's oxygen carrying efficiency is lower than that of the native.2.The heart structure of the migrant with COPD is close to the natives. There may be an increasing trend in the inner diameter of the right ventricle.
