Objective: To study the expression and clinical significance of LncRNA-MT1 JP and EMT related proteins in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues,and to analysis the correlation between LncRNA-MT1 JP and EMT related proteins,and to explore the role of LncRNA-MT1 JP in the development of gastric cancer.Methods: 73 cases of gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were collected.The expression of E cadherin and N cadherin was measured by immunohistochemical SP method.The expression of LncRNA-MT1 JP was measured by qRT-PCR.To analyze the difference and correlation of expression of LncRNA-MT1 JP,E cadherin and N cadherin in gastric cancer tissue and adjacent tissue and their clinical significance was analyzed.Results: 1.LncRNA-MT1 JP was significantly lower in gastric cancer tissues than in corresponding adjacent tissues [(?Ct gastric cancer tissue = 5.83±1.65)vs(?Ct adjacent tissues = 4.11±1.57)](P<0.01);2.The expression of LncRNA-MT1 JP was correlated with the longest tumor size,TNM stage,invasion depth(T stage),and lymph node metastasis(N stage)(P<0.05)in gastric cancer tissues.The positive rates of E cadherin in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were 42.5% and 69.9%,respectively(P<0.05).The positive rates of N cadherin in gastric cancer tissue and adjacent tissues were 56.2% and 35.6%,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);4.E cadherin and N cadherin expression levels are closely related to TNM stage,infiltration depth and lymph node metastasis(P <0.05);5.According to the average expression of LncRNA-MT1 JP in gastric cancer tissues,we divided them into high expression group and low expression group.The relationship between LncRNA-MT1 JP and EMT-related protein expression in gastric cancer tissues was compared.The results showed that: In the high expression group of LncRNA-MT1 JP,the positive rate of E cadherin was 73.5%,and the positive rate of N cadherin was 41.2%.In the low expression group of LncRNA-MT1 JP,the positive rate of E cadherin was 15.4%,and the positive rate of N cadherin was 69.2%.The results showed that there was a significant difference between the positive rate of E cadherin and N cadherin in the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: The expression of LncRNA-MT1 JP and E cadherin in gastric cancer tissues was down-regulated relative to adjacent tissues,while the expression of N cadherin in gastric cancer tissues was up-regulated relative to adjacent tissues;the expression of LncRNAMT1 JP in gastric cancer tissues was correlated with E cadherin,N cadherin.Protein expression has a certain correlation,it is speculated that LncRNA-MT1 JP may be involved in gastric cancer EMT biological behavior.
