Microcalcification(usually refers to the calcification is less than 0.5 mm diameter)is a very important information for imaging diagnosis of breast cancer.Recent studies discover this kind of microcalcification is formed under the contral of a series of osteogenesis related protein secreted by tumor cells.It's similar to bone formation process.This process play an important role in cancer invasion and metastasis,and impact on the occurrence,development and prognosis of breast cancer.Therefore,this study examined105 cases of mammary gland with microcalcification breast cancer lesions using high frequency ultrasound preoperative.We analyse the microcalcification ultrasonic features and prognosis factors of breast cancers and come to a conclusion of relationship between them.Objective We study the Correlation between microcalcification ultrasonic features andprognosis factors of breast cancers with a expection to improve the knowledge of microcalcification sonographic findings and breast cancer prognosis of breast cancer.Methods We examined 105 cases of mammary gland with microcalcification breast cancer lesions using high frequency ultrasound preoperative.We describe the sonographic findings of breast cancer microcalcification from it's location,morphology and distribution.Then we confirmed the existence of breast cancer microcalcification through a molybdenum target inspection of the breast cancer specimens postoperative.At last,we send the breast cancer specimens to pathologic department to obtain the prognosis information and analyse the relationship between microcalcification ultrasonic features and prognosis factors of breast cancers.Results There is no statistical significance(p > 0.05)between location and distribution of breast cancer microcalcification and diameter of cancer lesions.There is statistical significance(p < 0.05)between morphology of breast cancer microcalcification and diameter of cancer lesions.There is no statistical significance(p > 0.05)between location,morphology and distribution of breast cancer microcalcification and pathology type of cancer lesions.There is no statistical significance(p > 0.05)between location and distribution of breast cancer microcalcification and molecular classification of cancer lesions.There is statistical significance(p < 0.05)between location and distribution of breast cancer microcalcification and molecular classification of cancer lesions.There is no statistical significance(p > 0.05)between location,morphology and distribution of breast cancer microcalcification and lymph nodes metastasis.Conclusion There is no correlation between sonographic findings of breast cancer microcalcification and pathological type of breast cancer.There is no correlation between sonographic findings of breast cancer microcalcification and lymph node metastasis.There is a certain correlation between sonographic findings of breast cancer microcalcification and size of breast cancer.There is a certain correlation between sonographic findings of breast cancer microcalcification and molecular classification of breast cancer.Therefore,We canmake an initial evaluation of the prognosis of patients with breast cancer according to the sonographic findings of breast cancer microcalcification.
