The Effect Analysis Of St.John Wort Extract Combined With Menopause Hormone Therapy In Treatment Of Perimenopause Depression

Objective Effect and the rate of adverse reaction evaluation on St.John wort extract combined with menopause hormone therapy(MHT)in treatment of perimenopause depression.Methods 120 patients were collected by perimenopause depression outpatients of outpatient perimenopause depression service in Affiliate Cardiovascular Disease Hospital of General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University,included menopause hormone therapy(MHT)group 40 patients,St.John wort extract plus MHT group 40 patients,40 cases of St.John wort extract group,all patients had complete all clinical data.All patients had evaluation on Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)with prior treatment,posttreatment 4 weeks,8 weeks,12 weeks,effect and the rate of adverse reaction evaluation on HAMD scores of decrease and the incidence of untoward effect.Results 1.There are no difference between three groups in HAMD scores and age before the trail(P>0.05);2.At the 12 th week of treatment HAMD in MHT group effective rate is 77.5% and cure rate is 45.0%,St.John wort extract plus MHT group effective rate is97.5% and cure rate is 62.5%,St.John wort extract group effective rate is 75.0% and cure rate is 32.5%,the effect of MHT group and St.John wort extract plus MHT group being different(P<0.05),the effect of St.John wort extract plus MHT group and St.John wort extract group being different(P<0.01),there are no difference between MHT group and St.John wort extract group(P>0.05);3.HAMD scores at 12 th week in three groups being decline obvious(P<0.01).At the 4th,8th,12 th in three groups HAMD scores being differentcontrast with themselves of previous HAMD scores as the course of treatment progress(P<0.05).;4.At the 4th week of treatment in MHT group the rate of HAMD scores desent were obvious,St.John wort extract group were lower(P<0.05).At the 8th week of treatment in St.John wort extract plus MHT group the rate of HAMD scores desent were obvious,St.John wort extract group were lower yet(P<0.05).At the 12 th week of treatment in St.John wort extract plus MHT group the rate of HAMD scores desent were obvious,being different contrast with MHT group and St.John wort extract group(P<0.05);5.At the 12 th week of treatment in MHT group had 14 patients untoward effect appear,the rate of adverse reaction were 35.0%,St.John wort extract plus MHT group had 13 patients untoward effect appear,the rate of adverse reaction were 32.5%,St.John wort extract group had 4 patients untoward effect appear,the rate of adverse reaction were 10.0%,there was no difference between three groups of the rate of adverse reaction(P>0.05).Conclusion 1.The effect of St.John wort extract plus menopause hormone therapy group on perimenopause depression is distinct superior than menopause hormone therapy group and St.John wort extract group.2.The effect of St.John wort extract plus menopause hormone therapy group on perimenopause depression is fast,stable and lasting.3.The rate of adverse reaction of St.John wort extract plus menopause hormone therapy group in treatment of perimenopause depression has no increase and has better compliance.
