Neuron morphological studies are the basis for revealing the relationship between neuronal morphology and function.Neuroscientists need to reconstruct the morphology of neurons from high-resolution biological images and to compute and analyze them.Because of the complexity of neuronal morphology,it is a time-consuming and labor-intensive process to obtain morphological data of neurons.Morphological studies require a large amount of neuronal data,and the Neuron Morphology Database provides neuroscientists with a neural morphological data sharing platform.However,the existing neuron morphological database is not standardized,the development framework is backward,the function is not updated for many years and so on,it is difficult to meet the needs of neuroscientists.In addition,users want to observe the morphological shape of neurons often need to download data to the local use of high-performance workstations and professional software for visualization,how to reduce the visual cost of biological images is an important issue.Aiming at the above problems,a neuron morphological database platform based on micro service architecture is designed and implemented in combination with the requirements of the whole brain network visualization research process.The platform includes two parts: the data source standardization management system and the neuronal morphology database.The data source standardization management system is used to obtain the process management and information record in the process of obtaining the neuron morphological information,and provide the normalized neuron morphological data for the neuron morphological database;the neuron morphological database provides data retrieval,neuronal morphology online compute and analysis,visualization and other functions.Visualization features includes online visualization of neuronal reconstruction results,brain contours,and raw data.Visualization of Raw Data Using remote rendering techniques to provide online rendering services for 3D high-resolution biometric images.Image editing,image compression,image quality dynamic adjustment,request rate dynamic limit and other methods are used to optimize the visualization of the original data.This feature allows us to provide stable raw data visualization services for multiple users at the same time.The platform which is based on the micro services architecture can be easily extended on the basis of more functions.It is conducive to reducing the cost of neuron morphological research and can help neuroscientists to carry out more extensive research and experiments in the field of neuronal morphology.
