Study On The Prevalance And Influence Factors Of Female Sexual Dysfunction In Gansu Province

Objective: The purpose of this study was to anaylise the current prevalence of female sexual dysfunction(FSD)and identify the main problems,as well as investigate the associated factors of FSD in Gansu Province.Besides,we intended to put forward references to prevent FSD.Methods: According to the characteristics of geographical distribution and regional economy development in Gansu Province,we extracted 6 cities/countries(Tianshui,Jingning,Jinchang,Yongchang,Lanzhou,Baiyin)using the principle of stratified cluster sampling as primary sampling units,then extracted 3~5 communities/villages as secondary sampling units.A total of5870 women in 25 countries/villages were included as research objects after strict inclusion and exclusion criteria.Questionnaire was performed by the trained medical personnel,postgraduates with a background in medicine in the form of face-to-face inquiry.The questionnaires mainly include general demographic information(age,nation,education,economical income,occupation,BMI,marital ststus,et al),clinical characteristics data(delivery history,delivery times,depression,menstrual status,pelvic surgery,hypertension,diabetes,et al),female sexual function index and so on.The prevelance of FSD was analysed by statistic description,and the influencing factors that may affect the FSD was explored by the binary logistic regession.Results: 1.The prevelance of FSD was 52.72%,and the prevelance of sexual desire disorder,arousal disorder,lubrication disorder,orgasmic disorder,satisfaction disorder and pain disorder were 43.23%,33.24%,20.69%,29.74%,47.85% and 34.27%.2.Stratified analysis showed that the prevelance of FSD between different age,education,economical income,BMI,menstrual status,develivery times women were not the same.The prevelance of FSD in 50~ age female group was 84.80%,in elementry school and below education level had the highest prevelance(68.06%),the prevelance was 54.91% in the group which income under 2000 yuan,obese women had the highest prevelance(72.88%),postmenopausal women had the higher prevelance(86.12%)than premenopausal women,the prevelance of women with three or more times develivery was higher than other groups,whichrate was 78.81%.3.The results of binary logistic regession: The possible potential risk factors included three or more times develivery(OR=1.898,95%CI: 1.304-2.764),age over 40 years old(OR=1.875,95%CI: 1.553-2.265)or 50 years old(OR=3.982,95%CI: 2.898-5.471),postmenopausal(OR=2.354,95%CI: 1.712-3.238).The protective factors included high school education(OR=0.737,95%CI:0.587-0.924)or university and above degree(OR=0.574,95%CI: 0.456-0.723).4.The risk factors of desire disorder included mental work,postmenopausal,pelvic operation,obsity,age over 30 years old.The risk factors of arousal disorder included postmenopausal,pelvic surgery,drinking,age over 30 years old,and high education was protective factor,interestingly,once or twice develivery was also one of the protective factor of arousal disorder.Age over 40 years old,postmenopausal were potential risk factors of lubrication disorder,meanwhile,hypertension,age over 40 years old,junior high school or above education were protective factors.The risk factors of orgasmic disorder included hypertension,age over 40 s,the protective factors were junior high school education or above.The women had a low satisfication of sexual life over30 s,with 3 or more times develivery or postmenopausal,instead,the women had high satisfication with junior school or above education.Develivery,age over 50 years old,suffering from gynecological diseases were risk factors of dyspareunia,on the contrary,high education was the protective factor of dyspareunia.Conclusions: 1.The prevelance of FSD was 52.72% in Gansu Province,was above average level of domestic reportors.2.In order of severity,the problems infulenced female sexual dysfunction were low satisfaction of sexal life,sexual desire disorder,dyspareunia,arousal disorder,orgasmic disorder and lubrication disorder.3.The possible potential risk factors of FSD included three or more times develivery,age over 40 years old or 50 years old and postmenopausal.High school education or university and above degree was protective factors of FSD in Gansu Province.
