Objective:Systematic evaluation of the preoperative value of platelet/lymphocyte ratio(PLR)in the prognosis of pancreatic cancer. Methods:We searched systematically the domestic and foreign related databases, screened the literature strictly according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, analyzed the data by RevMan 5.3 software after extracting the relevant information from the literature. Results:A total of 4000 patients from 20 studies were included in the HR analysis of overall survival(OS).Analysis showed that elevated PLR was associated with decreased OS(HR: 1.16,95% CI: 1.08-1.25,p<0.05).Analysis of high PLR values predicted A poor OS in pancreatic cancer patients in Asia(HR: 1.25,95% CI:1.11-1.40,p<0.05),metastasis(HR: 1.25,95% CI: 1.08-1.44,p<0.05).Patients with pancreatic cancer treated with surgical treatment(surgery, chemotherapy, and combination therapy)were able to suggest that high PLR values were a detrimental factor in OS(p<0.05).In addition, the cut-off value for PLR included in the literature ranged from 126 to 225.Stratified analysis of cut-off values found that patients with PLR > 150 had significantly worse OS(HR: 1.53,95% CI: 1.16-2.01,p<0.05).Conclusion:PLR has a predictive value for the overall survival rate of patients with pancreatic cancer. The higher the PRL value, the lower the overall survival rate(OS).PLR = 150 can be used as a cut-off value for the prognosis of pancreatic cancer,PLR> 150 pancreatic cancer prognosis is even worse.
