Objective: 1.To investigate the current situation of oncology nurse in chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal symptoms management.2.To explore the influencing factors of oncology nurse in chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal symptoms management.Methods: 1.Employed the Delphi method to delelop“questionnaire of nursing activities in chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal symptoms management ”.2.A cluster sampling method was conduct to oncology nurse in 6 three level hospitals in Urumqi by using the questionnaire of nursing activities in chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal symptoms management to investigate the current situation and the influencing factors of oncology nurse in chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal symptoms management clinical practice.Results: 1.The questionnaire of nursing activities in chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal symptoms management based on Delphi had good reliability and content validity,its Cronbach's ?coefficient was 0.94,the questionnaire CVI index for the average was 0.98.2.The score of the nurse,s attitude was(49.27±6.32),the score of the nurse,s knowledge was(18.75±3.66),the score of the medical and nursing cooperation was(23.37±3.678),the average score of the nursing activities was(2.89±0.699).3.Among of the four dimensions,the freguency of health education was higher and that of symptom assessment was lower.4.Type of hospital,degree of education,continuing education and the knowledge and attitude of the nurse were the correlated factors of the nursing clinical practice activities in chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal tract symptom management.5.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that 6 factors contributed to changing of the nursing clinical practice activities in chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal tract symptom management.Conclusion: 1.“ Questionnaire of nursing activities in chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal symptoms management ” could represent the theme,and had good reliability and content validity.2.The attitude of oncology nurse on general level,the knowledge of oncology nurse was not enough,the cooperation between doctors and nurses was unsatisfactory,the freguency of nursing clinical practice activities was low.Nurses failed to exert their full effect in chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal tract symptom management.3.The main factors that influence the clinical practice activities of nurses were organizational factors such as department regulations,annual hospitalization volume and nurse themselves' factors such as educational background,knowledge and attitude.4.It is suggested to establish chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal symptoms management guildline and nursing standard,to improve nurses' knowledge and skills by training.
