Objective:To study the role of radiotherapy in patients of triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)with one to three postive axillary nodes after modified radical mastectomy?Methods:148 patients(TNBC with 1-3 postive axillary lymph nodes)were divided into two groups according to whether or not radiotherapy was performed ?The 5-year without local recurrence survival rate,5-year disease-free survival rate and 5-year overall survival rate were compared between the two groups, and the factors affecting the local recurrence were analyzed. Results : The median follow-up was 71 months,There were 32(21.6%)cases of local recurrence in both groups.5 years without local recurrence survival was improved by radiotherapy(87.3% ? 70.1%,P=0.010)?There was no significant improvement in 5-year disease-free survival rate(71.1% ?.61.0%,P=0.097)and 5-year overall survival(88.7%? 77.9% P=0.110)?Univariate analysis showed that age,T stage, vascular thrombosis, radiotherapy was the factor of without-local-recurrence survival rate.Multivariate analysis showed that no radiotherapy and T2 stage were prognostic factors affecting local recurrence. Conclusion:The 5-year without local recurrence survival rate of TNBC patients(with 1-3 positive axillary lymph nodes)who received radiotherapy after surgery was improved.Postoperative radiotherapy and primary tumor T2 increased risk of local recurrence.
