The Prevalence And Risk Factors Of Subclinical Hypothyroidism In High-risk Population Of Diabetes In Elderly Patients

Objective:To explore the prevalence and risk factors of subclinical hypothyroidism in high risk population of diabetes in elderly patients.Methods: A total of 1364 healthy individuals without diabetes history(?60years old)in the second affiliated hospital Xinjiang Medical University between December2016 and April2017 were organized to complete the diabetes risk score(FINDRSC)and then 253 subjects were enrolled in this study and were divided into two groups according to whether the merger of subclinical hypothyroidism,subdivided into subclinical hypothyroidism group(n=56)and normal group(n=197).The prevalence and risk factors of subclinical hypothyroidism in high risk population of diabetes in elderly patients were evaluated.Results:The prevalence of sub clinical hypothyroidism was 22.13% in the high-risk group.FINDRSC,WC,BMI,SBP,FPG,HbA1 c,CRP,Scr,TSH,TG,TCof subclinical hypothyroidism group are higher than normal group(P<0.05).The FT4,total protein and albumin were lower than the normal group(P<0.05).Between the two groups of gender,age,DBP,BUN,UA,ALT,AST,FT3,Hcy,LDL-C,HDL-C comparative differences had no statistical significance(P>0.05).Binary Logistic regression analysis results showed that subclinical hypothyroidism was associated with FINDRISC(OR=1.126),BMI(OR=1.375),HbA1c(OR=1.871),CRP(OR=1.043),TC(OR=1.459),Scr(OR=0.855),and albumin(OR=0.855)independently related(P<0.05).C onclusion:Using FINDRISC screening senile diabetes high-risk groups of subclinical hypothyroidism prevalence is 22.13%;BMI,FINDRSC score,Hb A1 c,Scr,CRP,TC are independent risk factors of subclinical hypothyroidism,serum albumin isind ependent protection factors of subclinical hypothyroidism.
