The properties such as aesthetics, wear resistance, adhesion and biocompatibility of dental restorative resin material have developed rapidly since its invention for more than 50 years,In recent years, researchers have studied and introduced a series of new restorative resin materials in order to reduce clinical operating time and technical sensitivity, and to improve aesthetic. For example, the application of bulk resin and self-bonding resin greatly reduce the operator's operating time and improves the clinical treatment efficiency. The application of color separation nano-resin has greatly improved the esthetic effect, making the filled teeth more natural and realistic, which can meet the high requirements for repair aesthetics of patients.Infiltrating resin can prevent the development of noncavitated carious lesions without removing tooth tissue and improve the demineralized tooth surface, which has a very ideal minimally invasive and aesthetic effect. In addition to the clinical application of the above new resin materials, researchers are also working on the development of antimicrobial and anti-remineralization biological properties of resin materials. At present, studies have shown that the biological properties of composite resins can be effectively improved by adding some antibacterial and remineralized materials.New resin materials including Icon infiltration resin and Filtek TM Z350 XT Universal Restorative were applied in the five cases reported in this article. The infiltration resin was used to treat white spot lesions after removing brackets for 7 years.Filtek TM Z350 XT Universal Restorative was used to repair the anterior and posterior teeth directly and indirectly.
