| Objective:To determine the prevalence and epidemiologic factors of the mild cognitive impairment in Luzhou area,and evaluate the quality of life in elderly with mild cognitive impairment.Provide baseline data for further cohort study and choice the reference of early intervention measures,and to provide scientific basis for the local government to guide the basic public health services,promote regional endowment service,improve cognitive health in the elderly and improve the life quality.Method:A multistage stratified cluster sampling method was used in 7counties of Luzhou.Selected Jiangyang as a sample county.Relying on the well filial piety endowment service center,extracted Nancheng streets 8 street which covered by the service center.Tell all the elders about our purposes and the significance of this survey,and then recruit all the participates in the 2streets.All respondents must be over 60 years old and voluntarily participate in the survey.Reference Petersen's diagnostic criteria in 1999,MMSE and IADL Scales is adopted to diagnosis the mild cognitive impairment,namely the MMSE score on cognitive function impaired and self-care ability on normally.Using Epidata 3.0 to establish a database,conduct a conformance check,and review the different items with the original files.SPSS 23.0 is used for all statistical analysis.T test and variance analysis are used for quantitative analysis,and chi-square test is used for qualitative analysis.Logistic regression model and Classification and Regression Tree are used to analyze the influence factors of mild cognitive impairment in the elderly.The SF-12 life quality scale is used to evaluate the life quality of elderly that with mild cognitive impairment.Result:Among 737 cases,the prevalence of mild cognitive impairment is36.6%,with 30.54% in men and 40.77%% in women..After standardization,the prevalence is 44.5%,higher than most citis in China.The age minimum was60 years old,and the maximum was 93 years old.The average age was 70.27± 8.010 years old,among which the prevalence is 32.17% in the 60-69 year group,40.74% in the 70-79 year group,and 44.17% in the group aged 80 and above.The logistic regression analysis on male investigators showed that higher level of education and more subjective social support were protect factor of mild cognitive impairment,while excessive drinking and less exercise were risk factor of mild cognitive impairment.The logistic regression analysis on female investigators showed that higher level of education,daily participation in social activities and more social support utilization were protect factor of mild cognitive impairment,while growth of age and smoking were risk factor of mild cognitive impairment.The classification and regression tree also proves that culture was the key factor related to mild cognitive impairment.The average of PCS-12 score was 46.60 + 7.41,and the average of MCS-12 score was 50.16 + 7.42 in the investigators.Men have more higher PCS-12 and MCS-12 score than women.There was no significantdifference in the PCS-12 score and MCS-12 score between the patients and the undiseased individuals.The sub-dimensional evaluation showed that the PCS score of general health(GH)and vitality(VT)on the patiens were higher than the undiseased individuals.The MCS score of vitality(VT)on the patiens were lower than the undiseased individuals.Conclusion:The prevalence of MCI was higher than most cities which is in China.The main influencing factors of MCI included age,gender,cultural,smoking,drinking,physical exercise,participation in social activities,subjective social support and social support utilization.To reduce the prevalence of MCI in luzhou,The intervention such as raising cultral level,promote residents exercise,social activities,control smoking and alcohol consumption,and increasing social support can be used to reduce the prevalence of mild cognitive impairment and to improve the life quality of elder people in Luzhou. |
