Clinical Study About The Bone Health Cream Therapy For Osteoporosis With Aromatase Inhibitors

Objective: This clinical trial is to observe the efficacy and improvement of symptom and living quality about Bone health cream therapy for osteoporosis with aromatase inhibitors.Methods: According to the diagnostic criteria and sample size formula,the sample size was proposed to be 72 cases,and 66 cases were actually collected.Then 66 cases were randomly divided into control group(33 cases trated by Caltrate and Zoledronic),On the basis of control group,33 patients were treated with bone health cream.and then the bone density,symptoms and quality Of life were evaluated after 6 months of treatment.Result: After treatment,the bone density of the two groups increased before treatment(P<0.01),However,there was no statistical difference between the treatment group and the control group.The total effective rate(87.88%)was significantly higher in the treatment group of improvement of TCM symptoms than in the control group(57.58%)(P<0.01).T-w o groups were reduced at the symptom scores of TCM after treatment(P<0.05),In addition,the treatment group was better than the control group improving the s-or eness and weakness of waist and knees,pain of lower back pain and lower limbpa in(P<0.05).The quality of life scoresof both groups were improved after treat-me nt(P<0.01),and the treatment group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group in improveing physical function and psychological function(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference about the blood routine and li-ver and kidney function between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).In this clinical trial,no adverse events occurred in both groups,which was safe and reliable.Conclusion: Bone health cream can effectively improve the soreness and weakness of waist and knees,pain of lower back pain and lower limb pain symptoms in patients with osteoporosis as sociated with aromatase inhibitors.However,the improvement of bone density was not significant.During the study period especially in physical function and psychol-ogical function.Bone health cream was no obvious adverse reaction,safe and reliable,suitable for further explore the application.
