Objective:This study intended to evaluate the effect of warming SLIPA laryngeal mask on preventing throat injury from the laryngeal mask cathelerization in elderly patients and provide reference for clinical application.Methods:40 elderly patients undergoing elective orthopedic surgery under supine laryngeal mask anesthesia were selected, with no gender limitation,age:81-88,BMI18-29kg/m2,ASA grade ?-? grade, heart function grade ?-? grade,Mallampati grade ? or ?,mouth opening,2.5cm.The patients were divided into 2 groups(n = 20)using the random digital table method:the conventional SLIPA laryngeal mask group(C group)and the hyperthermia SLIPA laryngeal mask group(H group).MAP and HR were recorded immediately before laryngeal mask placement(TO),immediately after implantation(T1),3 min after implantation(T2),and the occurrence of cardiovascular events was recorded. The airway inspiratory peak pressure(Pip),airway pressure(Pflat)and PetC02 at the time point of T1 T2,and the extraction of the laryngeal mask(T3)were recorded. The placement of laryngeal mask and its operation time of laryngeal mask placement were observed and recorded. The temperature of the laryngeal mask, the time of operation and the time of laryngeal mask placement were recorded. After recovery, the laryngeal mask was removed and the occurrence of oral mucosal injury was recorded.Patients were followed up and the incidence of sore throat was recorded. Results:The laryngeal mask was successfully placed in both groups, and no cardiovascular events occurred during T1-2.Compared with T0,MAP and HR increased at T1 in group C(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the above indexes in group H(P>0.05).Compared with group C,the MAP and HR of group H decreased at T1 and the incidence of oral mucosal injury decreased(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the index of laryngeal mask placement and the incidence of sore throat(P>0.05).Conclusion:SLIPA laryngeal mask can prevent laryngology injury in elderly patients with laryngeal mask placement, which is worthy of clinical reference.
