Effects Of Chinese Herbal Medicine Of Tonifying Kidney And Harmonizing Qi And Blood On The Relevant Factors In Serum And Pregnancy Outcome Of IVF-ET Patients

Objective To investigate the serum Relevant factors IGF-2,VEGF,TNF-?and TGF-?1 levels and its relationship with pregnancy outcome in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer?IVF-ET?;to observe the effect of Chinese Herbal Medicine of Tonifying Kidney and Harmonizing Qi and Blood on the Relevant Factors in Serum and Pregnancy Outcome of IVF-ET Patients,to explore its effect and mechanism of action.Method The patients were selected from Hubei Women and Children Hospital Reproductive Center with IVF-ET,which accorded with the standards of research.They were randomly divided into the Chinese medicine group and the control group,with 100 cases in each group.But due to many factors such as incomplete data,the actual effective cases were the Chinese medicine group?66 cases?and the control group?70 cases?.IVF-ET+COH+Chinese medicine was used in Chinese medicine group,and IVF-ET+COH was used the control group,with the same way of IVF-ET+COH in the the two groups.The application of traditional Chinese medicine could be divided into two stages:The first was tonify Qi of the kidney,Nourishing blood and activating blood Recipe to recuperate the body before IVF-ET;The second was tonify Qi of the kidney and Nourishing blood Recipe to help the implantation of embryo after IVF-ET.During each stage,the Chinese medicine intervened for 1³ months.Following items were compared between the two groups:?1?IGF-2,VEGF,TGF-?₁ and TNF-?levels in serum at the day of oocyte retrieval;?2?IGF-2,VEGF,TGF-?₁ and TNF-?levels in serum at the day of transplanting embryos;?3?IGF-2,VEGF,TGF-?₁ and TNF-?levels in serum at the seventh day of transplanting embryos;?4?the clinical pregnancy rate.Results?1?The Serum related factors at the day of oocyte retrieval:There were higher in the Chinese medicine group than in the control group for IGF-2,VEGF and TGF-?₁,which were significant differences?all P<0.05?,meanwhile there was lower in the Chinese medicine group than the control group for TNF-?,which was significant difference?P<0.05?,this suggest that there was probably a up-regulation for IGF-2,VEGF and TGF-?₁,and a down-regulation for TNF-?.?2?The Serum related factors at the day of transplanting embryos:There were higher in the Chinese medicine group than in the control group for IGF-2,VEGF and TGF-?₁,which were significant differences?all P<0.05?,meanwhile there was lower in the Chinese medicine group than the control group for TNF-?,which was significant difference?P<0.05?,this suggest that there was probably a up-regulation for IGF-2,VEGF and TGF-?₁,and a down-regulation for TNF-?.?3?The Serum related factors at the seventh day of transplanting embryos:There were higher in the Chinese medicine group than in the control group for IGF-2,VEGF and TGF-?₁,which were significant differences?all P<0.05?,meanwhile there was lower in the Chinese medicine group than the control group for TNF-?,which was significant difference?P<0.05?,this suggest that there was probably a up-regulation for IGF-2,VEGF and TGF-?₁,and a down-regulation for TNF-?.?4?the clinical pregnancy rate:The total clinical pregnancy cases were49 cases in the Chinese medicine group and 41 cases in the control group.The clinical pregnancy rate was 75.76%in the Chinese medicine group and 58.57%in the control group.There was a significant difference between the two groups?P<0.05?.Conclusion The results of this study showed that,Chinese Herbal Medicine of Tonifying Kidney and Harmonizing Qi and Blood used in IVF-ET process,may by up regulating the expression of serum IGF-2,VEGF and TGF-?₁,and lowering the expression of TNF-?,increases the rate of clinical pregnancy?75.76%vs 58.57%,P<0.05?and improves the outcome of IVF-ET pregnancy.
