Effects Of Acupuncture Stimulation Of Different Layers Of Tianshu(ST25)Region On Changes Of Intra-Ileac And Intra-Colonic Motility In Normal Rats

Objective:To observe the different effect of ilea and proximal colonic pressure in normal rats by manual acupuncture stimulation to Tianshu(ST25)area in different layers(full-thickness tissue,fur,skin,muscle,peritoneum,subperitoneum).Methods:Forty-eight male SD rats were divided into 6 groups:brushing group,full-thickness group,skin group,muscle group,peritoneum group and sub-peritoneum tissue group(n=8 in each group).Through the intervention of Tianshu acupuncture points at different layers,water pressure measurement technology was used to record the variety of ilea and proximal colonic pressure in 1 min after acupuncture using a mufti-conductance physiological system.Results:Compared with the data before stimulation,the internal pressure of proximal colon in the brushing group increases(P?0.05)so as to promote its movement.The internal pressure of proximal colon is lowered(P?0.05)and its movement is inhibited its movement by acupuncturing the "Tianshu" full-thickness tissue.The internal pressure of proximal colon will be lowered and its movement is inhibited when the skin,muscle,peritoneum and sub-peritoneum tissue in the Tianshu area is acupunctured separately(P?0.05).The single acupuncture group shows a competitive advantage on lowering the internal pressure of proximal colon by acupuncturing the peritoneum layer.When the left and right sides of rats'"Tianshu" area are stimulated in each group,there is no significant difference in the movement of proximal colon(P?0.05).Compared with the data before stimulation,the brushing group has no significant effect on the internal pressure of ileum(P>0.05).The internal pressure of ileum will be lowered and its movement will be inhibited by acupuncturing the full-thickness tissue in the "Tianshu" area(P<0.05).The internal pressure of ileum will be lowered and its movement is inhibited when the skin,muscle,peritoneum and sub-peritoneum tissue in the Tianshu area is acupunctured separately(P<0.05).Among the six groups(brushing group,full-thickness group,skin group,muscle group,peritoneum group and sub-peritoneum tissue group),acupuncturing the peritoneum group has a strong tendency on lowering the internal pressure of ileum.When the left and right sides of rats' "Tianshu" area are stimulated in each group,there is no significant difference in the movement of ileum(P>0.05).When the "Tianshu' area is stimulated by acupuncturing,there is a significant difference between the internal pressure ratio of the ileum and proximal colon in the left and right sides of brushing group as well as the left side of muscle group(P<0.05).There is no significant difference in other groups(full-thickness group,skin group,right side of muscle group,peritoneum group and sub-peritoneum tissue group)(P>0.05).Conclusion:?Tianshu acupoints can increase the pressure of proximal colon,and promote its movement;?Tianshu points acupuncture full layer to reduce the proximal colon and ileum intestinal pressure,and inhibit their movement;?Tianshu acupuncture at each single layer can reduce the proximal colon and ileum intestinal pressure,and inhibit its movement;?Tianshu acupuncture single layer acupuncture breakthrough showed a strong trend through the peritoneum in a single layer of the proximal colon and ileum intestinal pressure.
