Study On The Leisure Physical Activity And Influence Factors Among Residents Of Pingshan District In Shenzhen Province

ObjectiveTo investigate the present situation of leisure physical activity of residents in Pingshan district of Shenzhen,analyze the effects of self-efficacy,interpersonal factors and the surroundings of living community on leisure physical activity,and provide reference for the formulation of intervention measures for leisure physical activity.MethodsUsing the method of multi-stage random sampling,the general situation questionnaire,the simple Walking Environment scale(ANEWS)and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire(IPAQ),from April 2017 to July 2017,the questionnaire survey was conducted on 1002 subjects in 6 communities in Shenzhen Pingshan district.According to IPAQ survey,the present situation of recreational physical activity of residents was described,and the relationship between self-efficacy,interpersonal factors and living surroundings was analyzed by descriptive statistics,correlation analysis and multivariate regression.ResultsA total of 986 valid questionnaires were obtained,including 460 male(46.65%),526 female(53.35%),leisure walking activity 204(20.69%),and high intensity leisure activity in 116(11.94%);multivariate regression analysis showed:self-efficacy(OR=1.631,95%CI:1.241-2.145),family support(OR=1.416,95%CI:1.172-1.711),road conditions(OR=2.010,95%CI:1.466-2.756),surrounding environment(OR=1.522,95%CI:1.200-1.930)and traffic conditions(OR=2.881,95%CI:2.059-4.030)are closely related with leisure walking.the influential factors of high strength leisure physical activity include self-efficacy(OR=1.447,95%CI:1.057-1.982),family support(OR=1.384,95%CI:1.092-1.752)?support of friends(OR=1.313,95%CI:1.027-1.679),surrounding environment(OR=1.969,95%CI:1.480-2.620)and availability of exercise facilities(OR=1.623,95%CI:1.188-2.217).ConclusionsShenzhen Pingshan District's residents of leisure physical activity is less active.self-efficacy,family support and living environment on the residents of leisure physical activities have an important impact.According to different groups of people to formulate appropriate intervention strategies,the holding of group leisure exercise activities,beautify the surrounding environment,improve road conditions and traffic conditions,improve the availability of surrounding exercise facilities to improve the level of leisure physical activity of residents,promote the health of residents.
