Purpose To observe the effect of YQYYF on blood glucose and symptoms in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with Qi and Yin deficiency, explore the mechanism of the method of nourishing qi and Yin in this disease, developing new road for the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, providing more basis for clinical medication. Methods 60 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with Qi and Yin deficiency,a randomized double blind, parallel controlled clinical research method,30 cases were randomly divided into experimental group and 30 cases control group, two groups of patients in gender, age,BMI,diabetes duration, etc were no statistical difference before treatment, the comparable. The two groups received unified diabetes education, diet, exercise and life guidance. All the patients in experimental group in continue to accept the basis of original oral medicine for Western Medicine, and add the YQYYF(Astragalus membranaceus,Sealwort,Radix rehmanniae Rehmanniae,Ophiopogon japonicus,Rhizoma anemarrhenae,Mulberry,The root of kudzu vine,Radix pseudostellariae),1 agent daily, two times one day.The control group only used the original western medicine treatment plan. The study period was 12 weeks, and the duration of continuous administration was 8 weeks. Before and after treatment, the glycosylated hemoglobin and the safety index of patients was detected and the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine were recorded.During the treatment, fasting blood glucose and 2h blood glucose were detected at least twice e a week, and the average was taken. To observe the changes of blood glucose, the glycosylated hemoglobin and symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine before and after treatment, calculate the efficiency and determine the curative effect.Result(1)After treatment, two groups of fasting blood glucose decreasedfasting, and blood glucose in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(2)After treatment, two groups of 2h blood glucose decreased, and 2h blood glucose in the experimental group was lower than the control group after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)After treatment, two groups of the glycosylated hemoglobin decreased, and the glycosylated hemoglobin in the experimental group was lower than the control group, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(4)After treatment, the symptom score of the experimental group was lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)After treatment, two groups of dry mouth and throat, fatigue, eat much and easy to hunger, thirst, shortness of breath, dysphoria, palpitation, insomnia, constipation, red urine and other related symptoms were taken a turn for the better. The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Observation results show that the YQYYF joint hypoglycemic western medicine treatment of type Qi-Yin deficiency of type 2 diabetes compared with hypoglycemic western medicine used alone,in the aspect of improving the clinical symptoms and reduce postprandial blood glucose 2 h have advantage,no obvious adverse reaction and safety,no obvious advantages in reducing fasting glucose, and glycosylated hemoglobin.Taken together, the curative effect is superior to western medicine alone, improving the related symptoms, the quality of life of diabetics has been greatly improved, for the treatment of qi and Yin deficiency type can provide a scientific basis in patients with type 2 diabetes,so as to expand the view of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of type 2 diabetes.
