Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Chinese medicine combined with anti vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in the treatment of retinal vein occlusion macular edema(RVO-ME).Methods:In this study, patients diagnosed with RVO-ME from January 2017 to September 2017 were selected.A total of 58 cases, including 58 eyes, were included in 57 cases and 57 eyes. They were randomly divided into the observation group,32 cases,32 eyes, and the control group,25 cases and 25 eyes. The control group was treated with simple intravitreal injection of anti VEGF drugs for the treatment of RVO-ME,and the observation group was treated with Chinese medicine on the basis of the treatment of the control group.A total of 6 months were followed up and give examinations of visual acuity and OCT at each foliow-up,to observe the condition of 1st week,1st month 3rd month and 6th month after treatment, analyze the results of best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA),Central Retinal thickness(CRT)and the injection times, and evaluate the therapeutic effect of two groups. Results:In terms of vision, the BCVA of the observation group and the control group in 1st week,1st month,3rd months and 6th month were significantly improved than before treatment(p<0.05),there is no significant difference between the BCVA of the observation group and the control group after treatment in 1st week,1st month,3rd months and 6th month(p>0.05),there is a statistically significant difference between the observation group and the control group in 6th month after treatment(p<0.05),and the BCVA of the control group is better than the observation group. In terms of central retinal thickness,CRT in observation group and control group decreased significantly after treatment in 1st week,1st month,Ird months and 6th month(p<0.01).There was no significant difference in CRT between the two groups in in 1st week,1st month,3rd months and 6th month after treatment(p>0.05).In terms of recurrence, there was a significant difference in the number of injections between the observation group and the control group during 6 months(p<0.05),and the number of injection in the observation group was less than that of the control group. The spacing interval of the first and second injection of those patients who were injected more than 1 time, there is a significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05),moreover,the spacing interval of the observation group was longer than that of the control group. Conclusion:The combination of traditional Chinese medicine and anti VEGF drugs in the treatment of RVO-ME can effectively improve the visual acuity of the patients and reduce the retinal thickness of the center. The observation group with the participation of Chinese medicine has some advantages in improving the prognosis and ameliorate the sitiuation of recurrence, compared with the control group that is simplelly treated with anti VEGF medicine.
