Purpose: Thirty patients were treated with Ventriculoperitoneal shunt(VPS)in 34 patients with Endoscopic third ventriculostomy(ETV)and Ventriculoperitoneal shunt(VPS).A total of 64 cases were analyzed.To explore the effect of ETV on hydrocephalus in children under 2 years of age and the difference between ETV and VPS in the treatment of hydrocephalus in children under 2 years of age.Methods: Total 64 cases of the two groups,There were 34 ETV treatment groups.VPS treatment group 30 cases,Age 1 month ~ 2 years old,average 15 months.CT and MRI confirmed hydrocephalu..ETV and VPS were used respectively for treatment.Results: Postoperative follow-up of six months to three years,ETV group: 30 cases of clinical symptoms disappeared after surgery(88.2%).3 cases of improvement of symptoms,follow-up follow-up;The postoperative symptoms and signs of the children were not improved.Postoperative ventricular shunt surgery,The result was satisfactoried..Postoperative complications 1 case(2.9%),For non-infectious fever,self-improvement.VPS group: The clinical symptoms disappeared in 27 cases(90.0%).2 cases of improvement of symptoms,There was no improvement in the symptoms and signs of the other one.Family members give up further treatment.Death after discharge;Postoperative complications occurred in 7 cases.For fever,subdural hemorrhage,peritoneal cyst,subdural effusion and so on,positive symptomatic support after treatment improved.Conclusion: The treatment of cerebrovascular endoscopic triventricular fistula in the treatment of hydrocephalus under 2 years old is very effective.he success rate is high,Compared with ventriculoperitoneal shunt,The complication rate was low.For clinical treatment of hydrocephalus,As a more safer surgical plan.
