This thesis is composed of two chapters. The chemical constituents from stems of Lonicera acuminata Wall.are investigated in chapter one.The chemical constituents were isolated by MCI,Sephadex LH-20,silica gel and Rp-18 column chromatographic methods.Their chemical structures were elucidated by physical and chemical propeties, chromatergraph and spectral data.Twenty-five compounds were istated and identified from the medicinal plants mentioned above, including 2 new compounds.Structural type of these compounds involved iridoids, triterpenoids, phenylpropanoids, steroids, flavones and aliphatic acids,et al.The second chapter providesa more comprehensive overview of Lonicera acuminata Wall.from medica evolution, plant resources, chemical composition, pharmacological activity and clinical and pharmaceutical applications.Due to the difference in plant resources, the source of traditional Chinese medicine for Lonicera japonicum used in Yunnan is different from the Chinese Pharmacopoia, and it is mainly used as the Lonicera japonica with dry stes of Lonicera acuminata Wall.So far,the research on “Rendongteng” is mainly concentrated in the Lonicrea japoraca Thunb.,but the research on the chemical constituents of the Lonicera acuminata Wall.is less, especially the report of the chemical constituents. To date, only one part of the research is in the flower, and the chemical composition of the stems has not been repored. The effective components and mechanisms of action are indistinct. In order to clarify the material basis of Lonicera acuminata Wall.,It will pave the way for future research on the mechanism of action of effective ingredients, the chemical constituents in the stem of Lonicera acuminata Wall.is carried.Twenty-five compoun-ds were istated and identified from the dried stems of the medicinal mentioned.Among them,6'-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxy-benzoyl)sweroside(1),8-glucopyranosyldiosmetin(2)were the new compounds,6'-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxy-benzoyl)sweroside(1),8-glucopyranosyldiosmetin(2),strychnovline(7),lariciresinol(10),9?-hydroxypinoresinol(12),11,12,15-trihydroxy-13-en-oc-tadecenoic acid(17),1-methylcyclopentene(22),seven comounds were isolated from the genus Lonicera Linn.for the first time,6'-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxybenzoyl)sweroside(1),8-glucopyranosyldiosmetin(2),loganin(3),vogeloside(4),secologanin dimethylacetal(5),7-epi-vogeloside(6),loganic acid(7),strychnovline(8),sweroside(9),(+)-pinoresinol-4-O-?-Dglucopyranoside(11),transethyl caffeate(13),caffeic acid(14),protcatechuic acid methylester(15),luteolin(16),(2E,6S)-8-[?-L-arabinopyranosyl(1 "?6')-?-D-glucopyranosyloxy]-2,6-dimethyloct-2-eno-1,2"-lactone(18),hederagenin(19),oleanolicaci(20),1-methylcyclopentene(22),n-tridecane(24),triacontane(25)were isolated from this plants for the first time. The second chapter provide a more comprehensive overview of Lonicera acuminata Wall.from medica evolution, plant resources, chemical composition, pharmacolgical activity and clinical and pharmaceutical applications to provide a reference for further research and development.
