The Clinical Observation Of Naidong Huangqi Decoction In The Treatment Of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis

Objective:This paper presents an observation to the effect of Naidong huangqi decoction on Hashimoto thyroiditis(hypothyroidism)by combining traditional Chinese medicine with western medicine in treatment of Hashimoto's thyroiditis.Therefore,traditional Chinese and western medicine to correct the thyroid function can be better applied to improve clinical symptoms,regulate immunity,and then make the traditional Chinese medicine safe and side effects.Methods:60 cases of Hashimoto thyroiditis(hypothyroidism)eligible for inclusion were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Both groups were treated with basic treatment and oral administration of Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets(superior).In addition,the treatment group was treated with naidong huangqi decoction for 4 weeks.Curative effect was observed by taking FT3,FT4.TSH.TG-Ab.TPO-Ab as checking index and taking TCM symptoms as the therapeutic evaluation index.Results:(1)60 patients were included in this study.In the clinical observation,6 cases of the treatment group and 8 cases of the control group were given up.Therefore,24 cases in treatment group and 22 cases in the control group are valid samples.There was no significant difference between the ages and gender of the two groups with p>0.05.(2)The comprehensive effective rate was 75%in the treatment group and 45%in the control group with p<0.05.The effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(3)Two groups of patients after treatment of TCM syndrome score have statistical significance with p<0.05.Traditional Chinese medicine symptoms were improved more obviously for the treatment group.The total effective rates of traditional Chinese medicine were 79%in treatment group and 45%in control group with p<0.05.Hence,in relieving the clinical syndrome of TCM,the curative effect was more obvious in the treatment group.(4)The serum FT3,ft4 and TSH within the two groups were compared and p<0.05.There was no significant difference between the two groups with p>0.05.Therefore,the level of thyroid hormone can be effectively improved fir both groups,and the difference was small.There was significant difference between TPO-Ab and TG-Ab of two groups after treatment.The treatment group were compared within the group and found p<0.05.The control group were compared within the group and found p>0.05.There was no significant difference between the two groups with p<0.05.So the treatment group was better than the control group in improving antibody titers and immune regulation.(5)During the clinical observation,the two groups did not have adverse reactions in the treatment process.The safety index liver,renal function and three conventional examinations were not abnormal.Conclusion:Naidong huangqi decoction is helpful to the rehabilitation of the patients' thyroid function and can improve the clinical symptoms of the patients.No obvious damage to the liver and kidney function is seen and it can improve the quality of life.
