Clinical Effects Of Qi-supplementing Kidney-tonifying Recipe On Myasthenia Gravis And The Effect Of The Recipe On The Proportion Of T Helper Cell-17(Th-17) And Regulatory Cell(Treg)

Objective: This study is designed to survey the clinical effiect of Qi-supplementing Kidney-tonifying Recipe on patients with myasthenia gravis,and the effect of the Recipe on the proportion of T helper cell-17(Th-17)and Regulatory cell(Treg),so as to verify the role and cytological immune mechanism of the Recipe on myasthenia gravis,and to supply new methods for curing the myasthenia gravis by Chinese medicine.Methods: Observation was carried out for outpatients and ward patients in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2016 to January 2017.Upon the the bringing in and ruling out standard,by visiting sequence,the 60 patients with myasthenia gravis(I-type,IIa-type,IIb-type)were divided into two groups in random-the treatment group with 30 patients and the control group with the other 30 patients.Treatment group was provieded with the Recipe and basic western medicines(prednisone and/or bromine pyridostigmine);control group took basic western medicines(prednisone and/or bromine pyridostigmine);both observation courses were 4 weeks.In this observation process,before and after treatments,two groups of patients were evaluated by using the Myasthenia Gravis Score(QMG Standard Evaluation,and the Efficacy Assessment Form for TCM Syndrome)and the proportion of T helper cell-17(Th-17)and Regulatory cell(Treg)by Flow Cytometer,All the adverse drug reactions were recorded during this obervision.Results:After 4 weeks of treatment,patients in both groups gravis absolute score(QMG score)have declined,and there was a statistical distinction(P <0.05)compared to before by means of paired T test,there was a statistical difference between the two groups by means of Independent-Sample Test(P <0.05);4 weeks after treatment on two groups of patients with myasthenia grais(QMG score,then calculate clinical relative relative score,there was a statistical difference between the two groups by means of Independent-Sample rank sign Test,ontotal effective curative effect evaluation of myasthenia gravis symptoms(P <0.05),the total effective rate of treatment group is higher than that of the other one.After 4 weeks of treatment,patients in both groups TCM syndrome score have declined,and there was a statistical distinction(P <0.05)compared to before by means of paired T test,there was a statistical difference between the two groups by means of two Independent-Sample Test(P <0.05);4 weeks after treatment on two groups of patients with myasthenia grais(TCM syndrome score),after calculatingclinical relative relative score,there was a statistical difference between the two groups by means of two Independent-Sample rank sign Test(P <0.05);on total effective curative effect evaluation of myasthenia gravis symptoms,the total effective rate of treatment group is higher than that of the other one..moreover,after 4 weeks of treatment,the proportion of T helper cell-17 in both groups was less than that of before treatment by means of paired T test,the treatment group revealed a more evident reduction on the proportion of T helper cell-17(Th-17)than that of the other group by means of two Independent-Sample Test,and there was a significant difference(P <0.05)between the two groups.After 4 weeks of treatment,the proportion of Regulatory cell(Treg)in both groups was higher than that of before treatment by means of paired T test,the treatment group revealed a more evident growth on the proportion of T Regulatory cell(Treg)than that of the other groupby means of two Independent-Sample Test,there was a significant difference(P <0.05).Conclusion:(1)After obsevaition of 4 weeks,the QMGand TCM syndrome score in the treatment group improved more greatly than the other group,indicating that there were an evident clinical effects of Qi-supplementing Kidney-tonifying Recipe on myasthenia gravis,so it is deserved research and extension(2)Qi-supplementing Kidney-tonifying Recipe on myasthenia gravis could improve the rate of healing of MG.(3)After obsevaition of 4 weeks,in the treatment group,the proportion of Th17 decreased more greatly than that of the control group and the proportion of the CD4+CD25high T increased more greatly than that of the control group,indicating that Qi-supplementing Kidney-tonifying Recipe had an positive effect on the immune systemfor the myasthenia gravis patients.(4)After obsevaition of 4 weeks,with level changes of the proportion of the Th-17 and CD4+CD25high T,Symptoms of myasthenia gravis,TCM symptoms and quality of life were significantly improved than that before treatment,and there was statistical difference between the groups,shouwinging that the Recipe could effect the immune system by decreasing the proportion of Th-17 and improving the proportion of CD4+CD25high T.(5)During the use of Qi-supplementing Kidney-tonifying Recipe,there was not any obvious side effect,showing the clinical safty of the Recipe in treating the myasthenia gravis.
