Objective To analyze the risk factors of ventilator associated pneumonia occurred in ICU,VAP and provides the basis of prevention and control,so as to improve the therapeutic effect of VAP and reduce the mortality rate of patients with mechanical ventilation.MethodsFrom 2010 January to 2014 January in our hospital ICU ward was performed in 403 patients with mechanical ventilation in the treatment of patients, using the method of case-control analysis, explore the risk factors of VAP,and these factors were analyzed, and find out the prevention and control method of VAP.ResultsVAP 208 cases,403 cases of mechanical ventilation patients accounted for 51.61%,the duration of mechanical ventilation in patients with VAP infection of the average(8.23 ± 2.67)days,accounting for 8.65%of the dry rales auscultation of the lungs in 18 patients, and moist rales were 179 cases, accounted for 86.06%,while in the dry and wet rales in 11 cases, accounting for 5.29%;pneumonia in the lung of patients with 128 cases, accounting for 61.54%,80 cases, bilateral lobar has accounted for 38.46%of patients;in the VAP group and non VAP group comparison of risk factors,in the time of use of antibiotics, albumin level, whether the difference of re-intubation and mechanical ventilation time etc.statistical significance;the main disease and diabetes and COPD based VAP,comparison, and the non VAP group P<0.01;the single factor and multi factor regression analysis showed that the history of COPD,diabetes, multiple intubation, antibacterial species>2,duration of mechanical ventilation,APACHE score>15 points OR value was significant associated with drug.ConclusionThe risk factors of ventilator associated pneumonia in ICU ward are:COPD history, history of diabetes, multiple intubation, the combination use of antibiotics for type>2,the duration of mechanical ventilation,APACHE score>15 points.
