Objective:This paper is aimed to provide an effective and optimized treatment plan for the clinical treatment of Bell's palsy in recovery period and reduce the incidence of facial paralysis sequelae,by comparing the therapeutic effects of the Bell's palsy in recovery period bettween the treatment group(Facial Acupuncture on healthy and affected side,electro-acupuncture therapy)and the control group(Facial affected side,electro-acupuncture).Methods:Collect 72 patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for BP recovery(Class H-B III to V),divide them into a treatment group and a control group according to a randomized grouping method, evaluate the efficacy observations according to the facial scores and H-B classification on the two groups of treatment day,one course of treatment, two courses of treatment, and three courses of treatment,do efficacy observations and H-B grading at the end of ten sessions, count the total incidence of facial muscle linkage and facial muscle inversion during the treatment.Results:1.After three courses of treatment, the treatment group: cured in 27 cases, markedly effective in 6 cases, effective in 3 cases, the cure rate was 75%;the control group: cured in 25 cases, markedly effective in 7 cases, effective in 3 cases, ineffective in 1 cases, the cure rate was 69.444%.At the end of the third course of treatment, there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in facial scores,H-B grading and efficacy(P>0.05),suggesting that there was no significant difference between the two groups.2.The treatment group and the control group continued the treatment after 3 courses of treatment until the end of the tenth treatment course, with 3 cases and 4 cases falling off.Treatment group: the cure rate was 87.879%,control group: the cure rate was 78.125%.there was no significant difference in efficacy(P>0.05).The results showed no significant difference between the two groups after 10 courses of treatment.3.After 10 courses of treatment, there was no significant difference in efficacy and H-B classification(P>0.05).The total incidence of facial muscle linkage and facial muscle inversion in treatment group was 6.061% in the treatment group and 21.875% in the control group;compare the two groups by the total number of cases of facial muscles inversion and facial muscle inversion, there was a significant difference P = 0.028(P <0.05),suggesting that the treatment group is significantly better than control group on the the total incidence of reducing the facial muscle linkage and facial muscles inversion.Conclusions:1.The treatment group(alternate acupuncture on the healthy side and affected side+ electro-acupuncture)and the control group(acupuncture on the affected side + electro-acupuncture)are both effective in the recovery period of Bell's Palsy.2.Although there is no significant difference in the efficacy between the two groups, acupuncture on the healty side and affected side plus electroacupuncture is a better treatment option for the treatment of Bell's palsy in recovery period, the advantage is that the facial muscles linkage or Facial paralysis can be better reduced or prevented.
