Objective:Through retrospective analysis of the diagnosis and treatment on 25 rectal stromal tumors cases in our hospital, the clinicopathological features, diagnosis and treatment, and prognosis of rectal stromal tumors were discussed. Methods:A retrospective analysis of 25 cases of rectal stromal tumors from January 2007 to January 2018 of Nanchang University was reviewed. The clinicopathological and follow-up data were analyzed retrospectively, including clinical data, immunohistochemical features, malignant tumor risk division and patients' follow-up and survival analysis. Results:The median age of the patients was 54 years old,and the incidence of male was higher than that of female(72%VS28%).The onset of rectal stromal tumor is insidious, and the clinical symptoms are not specific. The common symptoms were digestive tract symptoms, such as bowel habit, change of stool character, abdominal discomfort and blood and so on.Pathological examination showed that most of them were spindle cells, bundles or braided arrays under the light microscope.Immunohistochemical staining displayed that the positive expression rates of CD117 and DOG-1 were high.Rectal digital examination played an important role in the diagnosis process, and the preoperative detection rate was 88%.Follow up results displayed that the recurrence rate of high risk patients after radical resection was significantly higher, and the survival time was shorter.Survival curves showed that the postoperative survival of patients with rectal stromal tumors is related to tumor diameter, not postoperative recurrence and metastasis, and surgical methods.Conclusion:CD117 and DOG-1 are important indicators for the diagnosis of rectal stromal tumors. The postoperative survival of patients with rectal stromal tumors is related to tumor diameter, not postoperative recurrence and metastasis, and surgical methods.
