Objection:To investigate the relationship between renal function from urine and serum lipids and diabetic retinopathy. Methods:The data of 183 type 2 diabetic patients hospitalized in the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the second affiliated hospital of Nanchang University were collected.According to fundus photography and fundus fluoroscopy results, patients were divided into non-diabetic retinopathy group(n=93),non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy group(n=79)and proliferative diabetic retinopathy group(n=11).Record the general condition of all patients, such as gender, age, and course of illness. All patients' renal function from urine test results and serum lipids test results were collected. And all collected data were analyzed statistically. Results:Univariate ordinal multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that disease duration, age, urine total protein, microalbumin, triglyceride, and high-density lipoprotein were related to diabetic retinopathy(P<0.05);gender,N-acetyl-?-D-glucosaminidase,glycosylated hemoglobin, total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein were not statistically related to the occurrence of diabetic retinopathy(P>0.05).Multi-factorial and multi-classified logistic regression analysis showed that longer duration and older age were independent risk factors for diabetic retinopathy.Urine total protein,microalbumin,triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein were not associated with diabetic retinopathy(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The higher the glycated hemoglobin value does not indicate that the degree of diabetic retinopathy is more severe.2.Urine total protein,microalbumin,N-acetyl-?-D-glucosaminidase can not be used as a sensitive signal to predict the onset and development of diabetic retinopathy.3.Total cholesterol,triglycerides,high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein can not be a sensitive indicator of the onset and development of diabetic retinopathy.
