Objective To survey the nutritional status quo of the flight crew.To make a research on the application effect of nutritional health education which guided by Preventive Treatment of Disease on the flight crew.To put forward scientific advice about nutritional health on the flight crew.Methods This study was based on the dietary guidelines for Chinese residents of 2016,the flight crew daily dietary ration,the flight crew daily nutrient supply.After consulting the experts and making multiple modifications,we designed the 24 h dietary review questionnaire and the flight crew nutritional KAP questionnaire.We selected the flight crew as the research object,surveyed nutritional examination indicators and the flight crew nutritional KAP questionnaire of the research object,took method of before and after comparison.We used Excel 2007,SPSS20.0statistical software to analyse the data.When the measurement data contented a normal distribution,we used mean±standard deviation to describe,used the T-test to analyse the data.We used frequency or percentage to describe the count data and ?2test to analyse the data,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Results First,the results of the flight crew nutritional status quo survey were as follows.The weight average of the research object was(76.5±7.8)kg,the average of BMI was(24.9±2.4)kg/m2,including 29 people overweight,the percentage was 48.3%,7 people obesity,the percentage was11.7%.The average of Waist-hip Ratio was(0.882±0.060),the Waist-hip Ratio of 25 people exceeded 0.90,the percentage was 41.7%.The results of the 24 h dietary review questionnaire were as follows,the food,fish and shrimp were relatively fewer than military standard,the intake of all kinds of meat,eggs,vegetable oil were more than military standard,the intake of the fruit and vegetables were insufficient.Three capacity nutrients,the energy from protein and fat exceeded standard,fat provided 47.6% energy,largely beyond the standard of 20%-30%,but carbohydrates provided 35.9%energy,lower than the standard of 55%-65%.The results of the flight crew nutritional KAP questionnaire were as follows.The full mark of nutritional knowledge was 40,with an average score of(23.7±7.6),the answer rates of8 questions were lower than 50%,including 4 basic nutritional knowledge and 4 aviation nutritional knowledge.The full mark of the nutritional attitude was 20,with an average score of(14.4±3.3),the answer rates of 3questions were lower than 50%.The full mark of nutritional behavior was40,with an average score of(24.9±5.1),43.3% of the research object eat more meat than vegetables everyday,38.3% of the research object used to eat night snack,31.7% of the research object used to go to restaurant for dinner at rest time,20.0% of the research object used to eat fried,smoked food.The full mark of the flight crew nutritional KAP questionnaire was100,with an average score of(63.0±11.1).Second,after carrying out the nutritional health education guided by Preventive Treatment of Disease,the weight average of the research object was(74.8±5.8)kg,the BMI average of the research object was(24.4±1.7)kg/m2,including 21 people overweight,3 people obesity.The average of Waist-hip Ratio was(0.878±0.450),the Waist-hip Ratio of 16 people exceeded 0.90,the percentage was 26.7%.The results of the flight crew nutritional KAP questionnaire were as follows,the average score of nutritional knowledge was(33.0±3.9),the average score of nutritional attitude was(16.8±1.5),the average score of nutritional behavior was(30.7±4.6),the average score of the flight crew nutritional KAP was(80.6±6.5).Third,after we carried out the nutritional health education guided by Preventive Treatment of Disease on the flight crew,the mean value of the weight and BMI index of the research object decreased,the number of obese and overweight people reduced,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The average score of nutritional knowledge,nutritional attitude,nutritional behavior and the total score of KAP were significantly improved,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion First,the nutritional status quo of the flight crew had to be improved.Research object was overweight as a whole.The Waist-hip Ratio was at a normal level as a whole,but the Waist-hip Ratio of 25 people exceeded 0.90,and the proportion of the Waist-hip Ratio more than 0.90 was growing with age,it was necessary to improve the nutritional knowledge level,to correct the nutritional attitude,to improve the nutritional behavior.Second,after carrying out the nutritional health education,the mean value of the weight and BMI index of the research object decreased,the number of obese and overweight people reduced.Waist-hip ratio was still at a normal level,diet control was not making an effect on Waist-hip Ratio change.In the flight crew nutritional KAP questionnaire,the average score of nutritional knowledge,nutritional attitude,nutritional behavior and the total score of KAP were significantly improved than those before nutritional health education.Third,the Preventive Treatment of Disease had a positive role on the flight crew nutritional health education.
