Clinical Study Of Oxaliplatin And Cisplatin In The Treatment Of Advanced Liver Cancer

Purpose:The purpose of this study was to compare the feasibility,efficacy and safety of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization in the treatment of advanced primary liver cancer with oxaliplatin(OXA)or cisplatin(DDP)regimen.Methods:A retrospective analysis of patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)from May 2006 to May 2013 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University was reviewed.All cases were confirmed by pathology and were not surgically resected.Both were treated with platinum-containing hepatic arterial chemotherapy Embolization.68 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma were divided into OXA group(n=33)and DDP group(n=35)by using oxaliplatin or cisplatin in hepatic arterial chemoembolization.The adverse effects were observed before and after intervention,The short-term efficacy,and all patients were followed up to observe the 3-year survival rate.Results:There was no significant difference in the short-term curative effect between OXA group and DDP group.The median progression-free survival(mPFS)of the former was significantly longer than that of the latter(P <0.05)Statistically significant(P> 0.05).There were 6 cases of complete remission in OXA group,partial remission in 13 cases,effective rate of 57.6%;DDP group completely relieved in 5 cases,partial remission in 11 cases,the effective rate of 45.7%.There was no significant difference in survival between 1 and 2 years and 3 years.There was no serious adverse reaction in both groups.However,the incidence of gastrointestinal adverse reactions(nausea and vomiting)in the OXA group was lower than that in the DDP group,and the incidence of abnormal liver function and fever was higher than that of the DDP group,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion: OXA and DDP-containing chemotherapy embolization of the same effect,the former side of the toxicity compared to the latter is smaller,more tolerant,can be used as a treatment of patients with advanced liver cancer can not be an effective treatment.
