Objective To describe the cognitive function among patients with stable coronary artery disease(SCAD)and explore its related factors and the fields of cognitive function impairment. Methods A total of 177 hospitalized patients with SCAD were investigated with general data questionnaire, montreal cognitive assessment(MoCA),and Self-rating depression scale(SDS).SPASS16.0 statistical analysis software was used to analyze the data, the measurement data were expressed as ?X±S,and the count data were expressed as frequency and constituent ratio.Single factor analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis were used. All tests were two-sided,P<0.05 showed significant difference,P<0.01 showed a statistically significant difference.Results1.The total score of MoCA was 23.34±3.82.The scores of seven fields were as follow:visual space and executive function 3.79±1.09,naming 2.34±0.79,attention 5.01±1.10,language 2.31±0.74,abstract thinking 1.45±0.59,memory 1.86±1.60 and directional force 5.97±0.18.The scoring rate of cognitive function in patients with stable coronary heart disease was from low to high: memory, abstract thinking, visual space and executive function, language, naming, attention, and directional force.2.In 177 patients with stable coronary heart disease, there are 43 patients that have or may have symptoms of depression, which accounted for 24.3%.There is a negative correlation with the scores of depression and cognitive function in patients with stable coronary artery disease.3.There was significant difference between the total score of cognitive function in patients with stable coronary artery disease in different age, body mass index, education level, marital status, degree of angina pectoris, arrhythmia incidence, diabetes prevalence, the prevalence of depression(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of cognitive function between patients with different gender, smoking, hypertension and hyperlipidemia.(P>0.05).4.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that age, education level, body mass index, angina pectoris degree, whether suffering from arrhythmia, diabetes and depression are the main factors that affect the cognitive function and each cognitive domain in patients with stable coronary artery disease. The independent variables can be used to explain 65.6%?51.3%?42.7%?43.1%?44.7%?48.7%?24.5%?3.1% of the variance of tatal cognitive function, visual space and executive function, naming, attention, language, abstract thinking, memory and directional force of patients with stable coronary heart disease respectively.Conclusions1.Patients with stable coronary artery disease may have multiple impaired cognitive domains. The main impaired cognitive domains are memory, abstract thinking, visual space and executive function.2.The prevalence rate of depression in patients with stable coronary artery disease is high. The more severe the patient's depression, the worse their cognitive function.3.The cognitive function of patients with stable coronary artery disease is correlated with age, education level, body mass index, angina pectoris degree, arrhythmia, diabetes and depression,Medical staff should pay attention to the evaluation of cognitive function in patients with stable coronary artery disease, and make targeted prevention and intervention in the impaired cognitive domains.
