Objective: To detecte the expression of Cofilin 1 and Destrin protein in lung squamous cell carcinoma and discuss the correlation between the clinical features and prognosis.Methods: Collected the fresh biopsies of lung squamous cell carcinoma patients,selected the comparison of 34 cases of cancerous tissue,The clinical data and clinical pathology of all patients were complete.All patients underwent pneumonectomy and all patients had no prior surgery or chemotherapy,then detected the expression and subcellular localization of Cofilin1 and Destrin protein through immunohistochemical staining in the lung squamous cell carcinoma patients who has different age,gender,clinical stage and survival time,then analyzed respectively the relationship between Destrin and Cofilin1 protein expression and different clinical features,prognosis via SPSS software.Results: In this study,Cofilin1 and Destrin protein were significantly plasma staining;In all the 104 cases of lung squamous carcinoma patients,There were 98 cases for Cofilin1 protein expressed positive,the positive rate was 94.2%(98/104),In all the 34 cases of adjacent cancer tissues,There were18 cases for Cofilin1 protein expressed positive,the positive rate was 52.9%(18/34),compared with the adjacent cancer tissues to lung squamous carcinoma,Cofilin1 protein in lung squamous carcinoma tissues showed significant characteristics of high expression(P < 0.001),In all the 104 cases of lung squamous carcinoma patients,There were 70 cases for Destrin protein expressed positive,the positive rate was 67.3%(70/104),In all the 34 cases of adjacent cancer tissues,There were 16 cases for Destrin protein expressed positive,the positive rate was 47.1%(16/34),compared with the adjacent cancer tissues to lung squamous carcinoma,Destrin protein in lung squamous carcinoma tissues showed significant characteristics of high expression(P <0.001).The Cofilin1 protein was 95.6%(88/92)for men and 83.3 percent for women(10/12)(P = 0.141);Under 55 years old,the positive rate was 91.7%(22/24),compared with 95.0%(76/80)for patients older than 55(P < 0.001).The positive ratio of patients with tumor diameter under 3cm was 88.9%(16/18),which was 95.3%(82/86)(P = 0.029)for patients longer than 3cm in diameter.The positive ratio of patients with smoking history was 95.4%(84/88),and 87.5%(14/16)(P = 0.230)for non-smokers.The positive ratio of patients with grade Ⅱ and grade Ⅰ differentiation group was 93.2%(82/88);In grade Ⅲ differentiation group,the positive rate was 100%(16/16)(P = 0.587);Patients with lymph node metastasis were 91.6%(44/48),with no lymph node metastasis 96.4%(54/56)(P = 0.411).In the stage I + II patients,the positive rate was 94.1 percent(64/68),and the positive rate of the III patients was 94.4%(34/36)(P = 0.658).The Destrin protein was 65.2%(60/92)for men,and 83.3 percent for women(10/12)’(P = 0.100);In patients under 55,the positive rate was 75 percent(18/24),and 65 percent(52/80)for patients older than 55(P = 0.538);The positive rate of patients with tumor diameter under 3cm was 44.4%(8/18),with a positive rate of 72.0%(62/86)(P < 0.001)for patients longer than 3cm in diameter;The positive ratio of patients with smoking history was 70.4%(62/88),and 50.0%(8/16)(P = 0.147)for non-smokers.in grade Ⅱ and grade Ⅰ differentiation group,Positive rate was 63.6%(56/88),In grade Ⅲ differentiation group positive rate was 87.5%(14/16)(P = 0.083);Patients with lymph node metastasis were 70.8%(34/48),with no lymph node metastasis at 64.3%(36/56)(P < 0.001).In stage I + II patients.the positive rate was 61.8%(42/68),with the positive rate of the stage III patients was 77.8%(28/36)(P = 0.125).The PFS and OS statistical analysis of the Cofilin1 protein positive expression group and the negative expression group showed no significant difference.The PFS and OS statistical analysis of the Destrin protein positive expression group and the negative expression group showed significant differences.Conclusion:1、Cofilin1 protein was significantly higher in patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma.The expression level of Cofilin1 was correlated with age and tumor size.2、Destrin protein was significantly higher in patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma.The expression level was related to tumor size,lymph node metastasis and prognosis of patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma.It could be used as one of the prognosticindicators of lung squamous cell carcinoma. |
