Objective: By the method of epidemiology and investigation of neurosurgery lesion resection in patients with epilepsy characteristics and risk factors for surgical site infection, for neurosurgery seizure lesion resection for clinical surgical site infection prevention, monitoring and provide evidence for reasonable intervention measures. Methods: A retrospective investigation was conducted on the patients with epilepsy lesions received from the neuromedical center of a sanjia comprehensive teaching hospital in xinjiang from January 1,2014 to December 31,2016.Through the hospital infection real-time information system obtain general information, operation information,in patients with hospital infection status, such as analysis of neurosurgery patients with epilepsy lesion resection clinical epidemiological characteristics of surgical site infection, unconditional Logistic regression method to identify seizure lesion resection at the same time the related risk factors for SSI.Results: A total of 97 cases of epileptic lesions were investigated on December 31,2014,including 32 cases of surgical site infection and 32.99%incidence of SSI.After statistical analysis, the surgical site infection and patients' gender, patients with preoperative hospitalization days and postoperative hospitalization days, preoperative hemoglobin, operation time and the area between drainage tube indwelling time was statistically significant(P<0.05),the single factor analysis, the related factors of the sense line further logistic multifactor regression analysis, patient gender(P=0.028,OR=0.224),the operation duration(P=0.041,OR=1.009),preoperative hospitalization days(P=0.035,OR=0.903)and the area drainage tube indwelling time(P=0.006,OR=1.026)as the independent risk factors for surgical site infection. Conclusion: Seizure lesion resection of SSI is given priority to with organ/space infection,SSI may and gender, preoperative hospitalization days, operation time and area drainage tube indwelling time, relevant departments should adopt reasonable prevention and control measures to effectively control and prevent the occurrence of SSI.
