Objective: To explore the clinical characteristics of FBA in children,to improve the diagnosis and treatment of FBA to help improve the prognosis of FBA,reduce the incidence of FBA.Methods: A study of 562 cases of children admitted to the FBA in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of Anhui Children's Hospital from January 2016 to December 2016.After admission,the patients underwent rigid bronchoscopy under general anesthesia,And the causes,location,time of production,misdiagnosis,outcome,duration of disease,clinical features,imaging,surgical techniques and skills of special foreign body removal and so on were analyzed for the gender,age of onset,the nature of foreign body and the surface,foreign body position,foreign body caused by respiratory granulation.Results: Of the 562 patients,357 males,205 females,male to female ratio: 1.74: 1,the youngest 5 months old,the oldest 12 years old,the average age of 24.39 months,under 3 years old accounted for 85.9%.FBA species are mainly plant foreign body,animal foreign body,mineral metal and non-metallic foreign body.There were peanuts(228 cases),watermelon seeds(71 cases),sunflower seeds(35 cases)among plant FBA.According to the location of the left 198 cases,238 cases on the right,92 cases of main trachea,bilateral 7 cases,glottic area in 1 case.Foreign body cough up 17 cases,534 cases removed(secondary surgery in 5 cases),no foreign body in 10 cases,one case died.There were 47 cases of granulomatous FBA with an average duration of 9.26 days.Conclusion: 1.FBA in children under 3 years of age,male patients were significantly more than female patients.2.Most foreign bodies are plant foreign bodies,peanuts,watermelon seeds and sunflower seeds are the most common.Different age groups of children choked foreign body type is different.The distribution of foreign bodies in different age groups is also different.There was no obvious difference in the distribution of foreign bodies on both sides of the respiratory tract.The location of the foreign body had no obvious relationship with the type of foreign body.3.The formation of granulation in the respiratory tract is independent of the age,gender and release of FA contained in the respiratory tract.However,it is related to the history of foreign body,the length of the disease,the location of the foreign body and the roughness of the surface of the foreign body and sharp edge.4.The location of foreign bodies,the nature of foreign body,granulation,the history of foreign body has an impact on the prognosis.Differences in gender and age have no significant effect on prognosis.5.The reliable auxiliary examination method for foreign body aspiration is CT reconstruction.
