Purpose:To compare the clinical effectiveness of posterior lumbar interbody fusion(PLIF)/transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion(TLIF)using Cage and posterolateral fusion(PLF)without Cage for lumbar spondylolisthesis and to collect scientific evidence for determining wherethere Cage-using is necessary. Methods : After systematic search in PubMed database,Embase database and Cochrane database, related researchs were selected according to eligibility criteria.Evaluate the value of Cage by systematic review and meta-analysis.Results:After searching in the three databases, with total 450 related researchs,7 randomized controlled trials/studies(RCTs)were identified.High-quality evidence indicates that Cage-used surgery can increase the fusion rate, and more blood loss.Moderate-quality evidence indicated that Cage-used surgery was more effective than no-Cage surgery for back pain, and no statistical difference for leg pain.Low-quality evidence indicates that Cage-used surgery has lower complication rate, and there was no statistical difference between the two methods with regard to operation time.Conclusions:Cage-used surgery can improve the clinical curative effect compared to no-Cage surgery, and more operation wound. |
