| Objective:To detect the expression of C/EBPβ and vimentin in hepatocellular carcinoma and its relationship with clinical pathological features.Materials and Methods:(1)The expression of C/EBPβ and vimentin in HCC tissues and para-carcinoma tissues were detected by the methods of real-time quantitative PCR,western-blot and immunohistochemistry.(2)Obtained the correlation of expression between C/EBPβ and vimentin by applying the method of Person correlation analysis,as well as analyzing the relationship between the obtained expression and clinicopathological features and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma.Result:(1)The expression of C/EBPβ and vimentin in HCC tissues was significantly higher than that in para-carcinoma tissue(P<0.05),and the results have differences in statistics.(2)The expression of C/EBPβ and vimentin in HCC tissues showed positive correlation(r=0.4875,N=60),which closely related to the tumor differentiation,TNM stage and overall survival(P<0.05).Conclusions: The expression levels of C/EBPβ and vimentin in human HCC tissues were significantly higher than those in para-carcinoma tissues,the expression of both are positive correlation.The overall survival rate of patients with high expression of C/EBPβ and vimentin was significantly decreased,which reveals that C/EBPβ and vimentin play the role of oncogenes in HCC. |
