ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effect of Edaravone combined with Low Molecular Weight Heparin on treating progressive cerebral infarction.Methods234 cases inpatients with progressive cerebral infarction admitted in Chang Zhou City Wu Jin District Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital neurology department from January2015 to December 2016 were divided into observation group(117 cases)and control group(117 cases). Two groups were given the same basic therapy, including platelet aggregation, statins, blood pressure control, blood sugar regulation, cerebral circulation improvement ect. Both two groups received conventional treatment, based on which, the observation group was treated with Edaravone 30 mg+NS 100 ml ivgtt, bid, for 14 d,combined with Low Molecular Weight Heparin 5000 U,sc,qd,for 7d.We compared the clinical effect and the neurological deficit scale scores(NIHSS)before and after 14 days treatment of the two groups. While we evaluate activity of daily living with ADL scale. Before and after treatment all the patients were asked to test the activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),the thrombin time(TT),the prothrombin time(PT),the international normalized ratio(INR),the plasma fibrinogen(FIB),and then evaluated them with the American National Institutes of Health neurological deficit score scale(NIHSS).Results1.Clinical curative effect Treatment group total effectiveness is(61.54%),higher than that of treatment group(43.59%)(P<0.05).2.The NHISS score The NHISS score before the treatment of the therapy group and control group is(24.70±8.70)or(24.10±6.92)respectively.NHISS score after the treatment is(9.9±7.23)or(17.20±6.80)respectively.There was no significance in NHISS score before the treatment in two groups. Results Compared with pretreatment, scores of theNHISS significantly decreased for both groups after treatment. The NHISS score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group.3.ADL levels The ADL levels of the treatment group and the control group before treatment is(39.23±2.81)or(60.24±2.33)respectively.The ADL levels of control group before treatment and after treatment is(41.11±3.07)or(76.15±2.67)respectively.There was no significance difference in ADL levels before the treatment in two groups, the differences between the groups compared with a statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05).4.Adverse effects No adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the treatment, such as renal and hepatic injuries, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, mucocutaneous bleeding,Urinary bleeding, significant intracranial hemorrhage and so on.The observation group patients had a higher basic recovery rate, total effective rate, the differences of which between the two groups were significant(P <0.05).ConclusionEdaravone combined with Low Molecular Weight Heparin may be effective in the treatment of progressive ischemic stroke, the treatment with high safety.
