In recent years,with the rapid economic development in our country,the people's quality of life has been continuously raising and they are paying more attention to their own state of health.As a result,the number of patients in large public hospitals has been growing,which is far beyond the carrying capacity of the hospital.At present,most of the public hospitals in our country generally have the phenomenon of "three long and one short" with long registration time,long paying time,long medicine retrieving time and short doctor's visit time.In particular,during the peak period of outpatient service,many hospitals may experience congestion.Outpatient service is a window of the hospital medical services,and it is directly related to the quality of the hospital's overall service,thus affecting the hospital's effectiveness and reputation.Outpatient process reengineering is the difficulty and focus of the modern hospital management,so more and more attention has been paid on this by hospital managers.This paper puts forward the “patient centric and information technology supported” thinking for the outpatient process rebuilding.It takes the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University as the research object.By analyzing the current situation of the outpatient service in the hospital,we try to find out the problems in the existing outpatient business process.Then,we use business process reengineering related theory and information technologies to make an outpatient workflow reengineering program.This paper aims to optimize the original management mode and service flow of the hospital through the reengineering of outpatient business process.Through the promotion of appointment registration,the patients were guided to the time division,and the outpatient flow was reduced during the peak hours,and the outpatient environment and order were optimized.Through the application of self-service equipment,outpatient one cartoon,WeChat payment treasure,and consultation room settlement and other functions,various payment methods can be combined to shorten the waiting time of patients.Through using an outpatient doctor's workstation,doctors can improve the efficiency and quality of their work by not manually writing medical records and prescriptions.With the support of information technology,make the hospital ensuring the rational allocation of resources,thus reducing the invalid travel times and waiting time,patients with improved patient satisfaction,improve the doctor's working efficiency and quality,and raise the level of the hospital outpatient service.
