Objectives:In order to understand the level of bone mineral density and influencing factors,we take children as the research object who checks bone density in the First Hospital of Jilin University Child Health Branch clinic. And explore the general information on children, child support, and other related factors on the impact of bone mineral density in children. This study provides clinical data for the timely detection of child growth retardation, and forms a health education strategy for children's parents.Additionally,to provide reference for relevant departments to carry out child health care work and to promote the early growth and development of children.Methods:1.Study subjects From July to October in 2016,598 children were examined bone mineral density at the outpatient department of Children's Health Department of Jilin University First Hospital in Changchun.2.Detection of bone mineral density in children Using the Israeli Sunlight Omnisense7000 P ultrasound bone mineral density meter for testing,Children under 3 years of age detect the middle of the left tibia, children over 3 years old with left hand distal radius.3.Investigation on the influencing factors of bone mineral density in children. The survey used self-designed questionnaires. The questionnaire is divided into three parts: the general information questionnaire;the questionnaire on child support;and other relevant factors affecting bone density.4.Statistical analysis The data was analyzed by Epidata3.1 and statistical analysis was made with SPSS23.0.The valid questionnaires were grouped by age for data analysis. The data of the measurement data and the count data were calculated by using the chi-square analysis. The difference between the two groups was compared with the independent sample T test.Multivariate analysis using Logistic regression analysis. The relationship between height, body weight, body mass index and bone density was analyzed by correlation analysis.Results:1.Early childhood bone mineral density survey results: Among the 69 cases of early childhood,19 cases(27.54%)had normal bone mass;26 cases(37.68%)with mild bone loss;10 cases(14.49%)with moderate reduction bone loss;14 cases(20.29%)with Significant reduction bone loss.Among the children tested, the number of children with a slight decrease in bone mass was the highest(37.68%).Height,weight,BMI and children's bone mineral density analysis showed that height, weight,BMI and bone mineral density were positively correlated.Through the analysis of the single factor of children's information, support, other related factors on the impact of early childhood bone mineral density, the results show that children's gender, height, weight, body mass index, feeding style, sports, outdoor activities, calcium supplement, vitamin D,taking hormones, birth weight, whether premature children and other childhood children bone mineral density have statistical significane(P<0.05);Logistic regression analysis showed that the main factors influencing the bone mineral density of children in early childhood were birth weight, taking hormones and feeding methods.2.Preschool children bone mineral density survey results: Among the 317 cases of early childhood,145 cases(45.74%)had normal bone mass;28 cases(8.83%)with mild bone loss;48 cases(15.14%)with moderate reduction bone loss;96 cases(30.29%)with Significant reduction bone loss.Among the children tested, the number of children with a slight decrease in bone mass was the highest(45.74%).Height,weight,BMI and children's bone mineral density analysis showed that height, weight and bone mineral density were positively correlated. The correlation between BMI and bone mineral density was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Through the general information on children, raising conditions on the bone mineral density of preschool children single factor analysis showed that children's gender, height, weight,Main dependents, feeding style, sports, outdoor activities, watching TV or playing electronic products time, passive smoking.calcium supplement, vitamin D,taking hormones, birth weight, whether premature children have statistical significance for the bone mineral density in preschool children(P<0.05);Logistic regression analysis showed that the main factors influencing the bone mineral density of preschool children were: main rearing ground, vitamin D supplementation, hormone taking, child feeding, sports, watching TV or playing electronic products.3.School age children bone mineral density survey results: Among the 212 cases of early childhood,94 cases(44.34%)had normal bone mass;46 cases(21.70%)with mild bone loss;22 cases(10.38%)with moderate reduction bone loss;50 cases(23.58%)with Significant reduction bone loss.Among the children tested, the number of children with a slight decrease in bone mass was the highest(44.34%).Height,weight,BMI and children's bone mineral density analysis showed that height, weight,BMI and bone mineral density were positively correlated.Through the general information on children, raising conditions on the bone mineral density of preschool children single factor analysis showed that children's sex, height, weight, body mass index, primary care, physical activity, outdoor activity, watching TV or playing electronic gadgets, passive smoking, calcium supplementation, vitamin D supplementation, taking hormones have statistical significance for the bone mineral density in preschool children(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that the main factors influencing the bone mineral density of school-age children were: the main dependents, taking hormones, sports, outdoor activities.Conclusion:1.The level of bone mineral density in children is closely related to the general demographic data of children, the status of child support and other related factors, which is the result of the combination of the above factors.Among them, sex, main support place, outdoor activities time, sports time, whether to add calcium, whether to add vitamin D,whether to use hormones are the influencing factors that affect bone mineral density in children of three age groups.2.As children age changes, the main impact of children's bone mineral density also changed.Feeding methods, birth weight, preterm infants are the influencing factors of bone mineral density in early childhood and preschool children, and are not the influencing factors of bone mineral density in school-age children.Main support places, passive smoking, watching TV or playing electronic products are the influencing factors of bone mineral density in preschool children and school-age children, and are not the influencing factors of bone mineral density in early childhood children.3.Some children's parents pay less attention to children's bone growth and development, less attention in children's daily bone accumulation and bone growth status. And there is an unhealthy behavior affecting children's bone growth and development in children's nutrition, exercise and lifestyle.According to the unhealthy behavior of parents, specific guidance and intervention measures have been formulated.
