A Study On Risk Factors Of Female Breast Cancer In Baoding

Objective:By conducting a questionnaire survey of women's study in Baoding city to understand the risk factors of female breast cancer in Baoding city.With stratified analysis method to analyze the major risk factors were different in menopause status,in order to conduct the targeted prevention trateg and control interventions to decreased the incidence of female breast cancer.Then,providing the theoretical basis for establishing an assessment model to evaluate the risk level of breast cancer for women in Baoding city,eventually achieving good results by early diagnosis and treatments.Methods:A hospital-based case-control study was conducted in 261 cases of female breast cancer with pathologically proved in hospital and 261 healthy controls that age difference less than 2 years old and residents of the same place(city or county).Cases were chosen from patients in hospital who had diagnosed breast cancer on January 2015 to April 2016.261 patients and 261 controls were used the unified design of the questionnaire,conducted by the same investigator.Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were carried out with SPSS20.0 software.Results:1.The case group of 261 cases of breast cancer who at age 20~80,the control group of 261 healthy women who at age 19~80.There were no significant difference at age in two group(t' =0.689,P=0.491).There were no significant difference on the place in two groups(X~2 =0.000,P=1.000).2.The premenopausal case group of 198 cases of breast cancer who at age 20~68,the menopausal control group of 177 healthy women who at age 19~55.There were no significant difference at age in two group(t'=0.767,P=0.443).The postmenopausal case group of 63 cases of breast cancer who at age 50~80,the postmenopausal control group of 84 healthy women who at age 46~80.There were no significant difference at age in two group(t'=1.332,P=0.185).There were no significant difference on the place in premenopausal groups(X~2 =1.215,P=0.545)and postmenopausal groups(X~2 =2.037,P=0.361)3.Suffered from mastitis(OR=5.215),greater body mass index(OR=4.673),career(other)(OR=4.326),late age at menarche(OR=3.295),often depressed(OR=2.926),career(cadre)(OR=2.774),use of cosmetics(OR=2.030)and high frequency of abortion(OR=1.832)were the risk factors of female breast cancer in Baoding city.Menopause(OR=0.117),intaking fruit regularly(OR=0.224),intaking moderate alcohol(OR=0.449),and lifetime duration of exposure to estrogen(OR=0.889)were protective factors of female breast cancer.4.Career(student)(OR=14.564),late age at menarche(OR=9.974),greater body mass index(OR=7.620),high frequency of abortion(OR=3.787)and career(cadre)(OR=3.372)were the risk breast cancer factors of premenopausal women in Baoding city.Having sex life(OR=0.091)and intaking fruit regularly(OR=0.136)were protective breast cancer factors of premenopausal women.5.Often having tea(OR=4.067),suffered from mastitis(OR=2.964)and late age at menarche(OR=2.580)were the risk breast cancer factors of postmenopausal women in Baoding city.Oral contraceptives(OR=0.052)was protective breast cancer factors of postmenopausal women.Conclusions:1.The risk factors in premenopausal and postmenopausal women of Baoding are different.2.Suffered from mastitis,greater body mass index,late age at menarche,high frequency of abortion were the major risk factors of breast cancer in women that living in Baoding.Intaking fruit regularly might be associated with the decreasing breast cancer risk.3.By taking exercises to lose weight,reducing the number of unplanned pregnancies and intaking more fruit will decrease the incidence of breast cancer in women of Baoding city.
