| With the start of China’s aging population,the number of patients with osteoporosis is rising,seriously affected the life quality of people,the impact on the economy and health are increasing.The current pressure for the treatment of osteoporosis is mainly through bisphosphonate,estrogens and calcitonin drugs to relieve and restrain,but the drug treatment is not only expensive,but also accompanied by some side effects.Therefore,looking for safe and effective prevention and control in the rapid development of science and technology is imperative today,the low frequency electromagnetic field has no trauma,no pain,manipulation of attracted more and more attention of researchers in the study,and bone cell experiments were found that the low frequency sinusoidal alternating electromagnetic field can significantly promote osteoblast differentiation and mineralization therefore,the sinusoidal electromagnetic field as a new physical therapy potential gradually be attention.However,the treatment effect is obvious in cell experiment results if has the same results in animal experiments,which has not been reported.In order to further understand the effects of low frequency sinusoidal electromagnetic fields on osteoporosis,the effective electromagnetic parameters of this subject based on pre screening group cell experiment,this experiment on the sinusoidal electromagnetic fields in animal experiments were carried out on the related research.The experiment was divided into two parts.The first part was that divided the animals to 5 groups: SD group,0.1mT group,0.6mT group,1.2mT group and 1.8mT group.The second part divided the 6 week old SD rats into 4 groups,including the control group,15 Hz group,30 Hz group and 45 Hz group.During the whole experiment,the sinusoidal magnetic field in corresponding parameters persistently intervented the rats,after 8 weeks testing the bone mineral density of rats by dual energy X ray absorptiometry;determinating the content of factors related the bone metabolism by ELISA kit;testing the biomechanical properties of rats bone by AG-X series electronic universal testing machine;double fluorescence distance measure the unit bone growth;VG staining illustrating the bone histomorphometry and the Micro-CT exhibiting the microstructure of bone.At the same time identifying the safety from the rat body weight,organ coefficient,organ pathology and bone sizes,in order to clarify the mechanism of sinusoidal electromagnetic fields improve bone density in growing rats,for clinical osteoporosis prevention and development of electromagnetic treatment instrument and provide theoretical reference and scientific basis.The experimental results are as follows:1.the screening results of different intensity of sinusoidal electromagnetic field: 50 Hz 0.1mT and 1.8mT sinusoidal electromagnetic fields can significantly improve the rat bone density,femoral and vertebral bone mineral density were improved also;there were significant differences between the experiment groups and control group in biochemical index,serum bone biomechanical properties and bone histomorphometry index.2.the screening results of different frequencies of sinusoidal alternating electromagnetic field:15Hz and 45 Hz 1.8mT sinusoidal alternating electromagnetic field were significantly better than the control group in the bone related indicators.According to the results of the two experiment,the sinusoidal alternating electromagnetic field of 45 Hz 1.8mT can effectively improve the bone mineral density of growing rats. |
